Damn you guerilla, damn you

Hey the anarchists stopped responding when security & courts were brought up, brilliant!

I didn't see that part because I stopped reading your post after I saw this:

Right now the model works well with societies of a few million people and societies of hundreds of millions of people.

If you think giving a small collective a monopoly on deadly force to intimidate, harass, imprison, and kill is a well working model, what more is there to say? You seem to think that just because we are proponents of anarchism, that all of us will have a definitive and concise solution to every possible scenario you throw our way. I'm still a student of anarchy so I'm not going to pretend I have all the answers. But the model you're a fan of will sentence a person to 55 years in prison for marijuana and in the same breath only give 10 for murder.

I guess we could always vote to try and change that...

Ya this is exactly what I've been talking about the entire time. Absurd false conclusions. You seem to (like everyone else) believe that when I support government I'm supporting the US style of governing. I'm not a fan of sentencing someone to jail for 55 years for marijuana possession. I'm not a fan of the US government.

The US Government is what happens when you give people the monopoly on violence.

If anything, it's proof that power can't be contained, there's no such thing as "limited Government".

What kind of Government are you a "fan" of?

It's not an absurd conclusion. This is what happens with government. It may start out small and limited, but it will never remain that way. Human nature won't allow for it. Look at the beginnings of the U.S. The ink wasn't even dry on the constitution before the Alien and Sedition acts were passed. What make you think you can consolidate the kind of power that comes with a having a government and not have it abused?

I think we have 250 years of empirical evidence that US style limited government doesn't work.

But as I have advised Hellblazer, maybe you guys just need to vote harder.

Paul of course is trapped in the problem with statist justification.

He thinks we need government because people can't govern themselves, but then he wants a government run by those same people.

And I assume he likes democracy, so he wants people who can't govern themselves, to elect other people who can't govern themselves, to govern them.

What a mess, lol.
