I have always thought we are missing a Ron Paul over in UK. While Daniel is no Ron, I am glad there is someone with sense over here.

The interviewer is pretty annoying. He sounds like he has flame in his throat that he needs to spit out.
 


That's Neil Cavuto. He's a pretty big douchebag.

Hannan's other speeches are really impressive as well. If you go to his URL, it redirects to his blog on a news site, and he has several videos listed there.

He's what a Tory used to be (old right conservative). Now they are almost indistinguishable from progressive liberals.
 
@ SEOReborn...speaking of debt, lately Tories want to raise school fees from Oxford to the red brick schools because they say they can't "compete" with American universities. Now, personally I am adamantly against this - across the board. I mean if you are a duck hunting public school boy/girl straight off the train from Eton or Harrow - then fine. You can afford to pay. But what about the equalizing power of an affordable education? My big fear with this push is that European Higher education will go the way of American higher education. By that I mean, culturally in Europe, education is seen as a human right - like clean water, clean air, medical care, etc. I'm all for any enterprising individuals who want to offer private education and schools for those who want them and for those who can afford to pay. My only fear is that the 900+ year old traditions of places like Oxford or Cambridge will be flushed down the toilet for the want of an extra buck or two - in this case a couple of quid or two. That said, I do think the universities can do a better job of monetizing their intellectual property in the form of scientific and business research partnerships with industries.

Anyway, what's your take?
 
@SEOReborn. BTW, I checked out your sig. I consider myself a fairly open minded person on some things, but don't you think infowars.com is a little over the top?! And this is coming from someone who has enjoyed some of what I've seen in Davide Icke movies....

There are questions to be asked like what do they mean by competing with American University. In what way and how would the extra funds be used. This is not something that I have looked into and so can't really give an opinion on. I have been fortunate enough to get into university for free and also got a grant for it also. I do agree however that if there is any other avenue (apart from raising fees) of creating more income for the schools/university without losing their integrity to commercial interests, they should be looked into.

Alot of what infowars.com publish could be backed up with facts, so in that way I don't see it as over the top. Though not everything can be 100% certain or accurate, so its up to us to research into it, cross checking with what is in main media + other sources etc to see the overall picture.

I used to listen to Alex Jones everyday, but have avoided listening for the pass few weeks. Not because I think he is talking bull, its just I wanted to take a break from the bombardment of negative facts (even if they are true). Recently I have been looking more into esoteric side of things, and the earth changes that are happening. Really interesting stuff.

I've come to the conclusion that Alex is phony. His topics aren't always phony, but he jazzes them up beyond believability, and if you listen to him enough, he contradicts himself all the time.

I put it on sometimes for some background noise or if he has a good guest. But he really gets on my nerves with his grunting, funny voices and screaming and ranting. That behavior doesn't represent my views or how serious I think the topics are.

I normally listen to him using headphones when doing m work. Have to say when I listen to his voice for a long time, my ear feels uncomfortable. His voice is deep and croaky.

He has good guest on and I always like it when guys like Gerald Celente, Ron Paul, Peter Schiff and some others goes on.
