Did you get a .ME domain name today?

Grabbed UOP.me today. University of the Pacific, University of Phoenix, etc. Not sure what to do with it. Then again, I never am. Google keyword tool shows over 90k montly phrase match searches, so I guess it could end up being worth something beyond the reg fee...I hope!

The .tld does not matter. Of course, the .com is much older, with a big head start in backlinks, so that would matter.

i can only speculate that the higher price of registering the TLD will make it less likely to be used for spam. (see .info)

I was trying to get in on some porn names liek the following but they were all taken.

lick.me
suck.me
fuck.me
rape.me

haha son of bitch so many good things that can go with .me

dig a little deeper. although they may not be considered premium, i grabbed a few domains with adult potential.

rubdown.me
vidcam.me

.me strikes me as awesome for adult themes too.

Its amazing how fucking fast the good names go for any new TLD.

It would be nice to have the budget and staff to sit back and buy the fuck out of every generic term in the book.

I can just imagine how much some companies own.

EDIT: Too bad Google.ME was not available that would be a pretty good one to snag up even though it would be filled with court battles.

Incorrect. I snagged a lot of great domains. While they did hog up a number of great ones, there were still plenty left over.

Whats really fucked up is that I've found some really good ones that get lots of searches in Google with medium competition but upon closer examination I've found a few more that still have the .org and .nets up for grabs so I snagged those up as well haha.

Fuck I hate this thread I just spent so much money on domains I'll probably never use.

as did i.. didn't even follow the .me tld until i read this thread and ended up wasting some money on em, lets hope they pay off in the long run

shouldikill.me available

suicide help site, maybe have a premium section where they pay 9.95/mo to talk to someone on the phone (recurring billing of course .. free trial must cancel in 14 days or 9.95 there after)

That's really sick man. I understand wanting to make money, but profiting from those thinking about taking their life is going too far. Plus, there are tons of free resources available to those thinking about suicide.

You obviously don't make very much online if your worried about hurting someone elses feelings.
