All the ones I really wanted...I lost or didn't get. I didn't get up in time this morning.
 
earlier I didn't get pron.me...damn thing said available but some french dude snagged it.

Yup, calendar was marked. Got the one I wanted and it resolves to my server.

maybe the guy who snagged it will actually develop it and give a service back to the world instead of buying it just to flip in a day...

Flipping is a good service. Snag domains while the rich sleep.

This is a great scoop for anyone looking for a story. GoDaddy will let you register really crappy .ME domains... but good ones? nah...
 
Ok, here's the deal... I got off the phone with GoDaddy and the official response is that there are many different registrars taking these .ME domain orders so the real registrar (whoever that is) may come back and say someone has already registered it.

Or... could it be they only let go of the crappy names?

I guess we'll never know?

I can see this happening with some of the crappy registrars, but GoDaddy should make it a bit clearer in my opinion...

So don't get too excited if you think you got a good name. The only thing you are really guaranteed is that you will be charged $39.95.

I don't know why people are so surprised. All the good names were registered weeks ago before the landrush.
