I'm talking about in the 'real world'. I've tried to tell people about making money online; about how lots of people make money from writing for themselves or writing for others. I've talked about being an 'affiliate'. No one really seems to understand what I'm saying or if they do it's like, 'hmm, that's interesting.' Of course I'm not rolling in dough so that probably makes a difference as well. People do know a bit about Ebay though and Craigslist. What response do you get from people on the outside? Has your lifestyle convinced very many to join you?

They only care to know about it if you're rich, but when you get there you wouldn't be talking to them to begin with, forget about it.

Me: Well, I'm a web developer - I do graphic design, search engine optimization, and online marketing.

Girl: OMG! Thats so cool! I'm a host a P.F. Chang's.

And then we fuck.

If anyone asks I'm a Transponster, working in online transponding. Its a bit like a web programmer but different. That seems to do the trick.

When I was poor they didnt give a shit.

Now that im rich men want my ass and women want my cock.

On a serious note, i just tell people im a compulsive gambler. They leave me alone.

Save the energy. Those people will drain you out.
People think the web is a joke coz its inanimate.
The jokes on them.

Oh I know. I’ve told some friends & family too. The ones that are genuinely interested will check out my websites or listen to me spout off strategies & such. I’ve had a few express interest but then when they hear what is required to really make it work either I see eyes glaze over or I get the response “Oh, I’m okay. We’re comfortable financially..” Basically I can tell they don’t want to take the risk of delving into unknown territory.

I had one friend, though, that responded by telling me his own grand idea on how to make a killing on eBay and went on & on & on… lol, I was the one w/the eyes glazing over getting bored that time ;)
