Of course this wasn't stage just like all those blogs we see are real.

If Eminem did not agree to this ahead of time MTV would be opening themselves up to an 8 figure lawsuit from him.
 


If I had to bet, I'd say that Eminem was probably convinced that Bruno wearing something a little less revealing would end up sitting in his lap and agreed to be in on the joke. Cohen took that and ran with it.
 
Well the cameraman obviously knew about it beforehand. Their has some shots before and the cameraman walking around got great shots of an action scene with legs lying around and the pictures are perfect. That does not happen by accident.

I think maybe Eminem didnt know, but he is a complete tool for marketing so maybe he would agree.

I'd say this is probably a bit closer to the truth. Cohen gets people to agree to one thing, gets them to sign off on it, and then flips it around on them.
 
You people are fucking stupid if you think MTV would let some dude shove his asscrack in Eminem's face without the consent of Eminem.

As someone who once had his own reality show (which was a pilot that never got picked up by the network), I can tell you with absolute certainty that everything you see on TV is completely contrived (except maybe the news), including PR stunts like this. If they weren't planned and rehearsed they would never work out.
