Enjoyed Affiliate Summit..what did you all think?

i second that. insane conference, less booze next time.

see you at ad-tech ny, but this time ima bring my own food and own water. i can't stand NYC air, food and water. couldn't live there for any longer than 1-2 weeks i guess, lol

If you're staying at the Hilton, London or another spot in that general location for ad-tech, there is a Duane Reade a block north to get water, non-perishable food, beer, etc.

Then stay the fuck in Toledo....Sioux Falls....or whatever piece of shit city you from!

first time in NYC felt like i was in a 3rd world country what a complete pile of shit NYC is. I had to shower every time i left the hotel just walking around is dangers to your health.

Lets put it this way if some one was taking a shit on the side walk you would just walk by because you would assume it was a normal thing to do in that hell whole.

BUT OVER ALL THE SHOW MADE IT A KILLER TIME

I don't know, mostly got my water and food from a normal store around the corner. polish springs or whatever that stuff is called is good, but they serve you tap water with ice in the restaurants i guess..

ASE was one god damn hell of a show.

respect to COPEAC and Advaliant for the proper hospitality. NYC was unforgettable.

Had a BLAST at the show! Thanks Shawn & Missy. Being in NYC, it was great hosting ASE in my backyard and getting to meet a shitton of people. Yes, it was hot and humid as hell - that's what happens in NYC in the summer - it was tough to deal with even for me.

BUT, the networking that was done at the show was invaluable (at least for me). Meeting old connections and catching up, putting a face with a name, and meeting a TON of fellow legit affiliates will no doubt be beneficial. It seemed as if there was a real collaborative environment here. One where people realize the importance of networking and helping each other out. I'm not talking about sharing your super secret traffic source where nobody else is running, but it's more about sharing information and ideas, so you, as a team, can have a leg up on the competition.

All in all, I loved meeting fellow WF'ers (even though I'm a lurker), affiliates, bloggers, networks, advertisers, etc. Hope everyone else enjoyed the show and found it as extremely motivating as I did. Now back to work...

Side note: If anyone is in the NYC area and wants to meet for lunch/drink/whatever, I'm always down to shoot the shit with fellow like-minded people.

Cheers!

i thought NY was awesome. That was my first time there, great show shawn. ASW was great but honestly i'm way burned out on vegas. Maybe next year it can be in hollywood? People may not like that but hey hollywood has lots of awesome clubs with huge rooftop bars so the networks won't be competing over party venues. There's lots of fun stuff to do, good food and hot women.

I don't like anything about Vegas, but every year 70% or more of the people polled want to go back there.

i do look forward going to AS in NYC but AS in Vegas is the place to be ...

cant wait to go to XS night club at Encore Wynn again ... good times!!!!

ASE was a total blast, enjoyed every bit of it. First time for me - and I can't stress how much I loved it. I lack networking skills but everything was happening pretty natural. Of course C2M had the best booth ;) Loved the blue JAR bus, too! Met quite a few WF people, but never got to hug Deliguy hehe :)
def. going to ASW!

...And yeah, since when vitamins C/B are a secret??? You acai/greentea marketers must know supplements better! Shame on you LOL :)

Oh come on now. What's not to like about Vegas? How can one fail to be exhilarated as your plane comes in for a landing and you see those twinkling neon lights out of your window...

Thanks for everything Shawn, great show!

I vote San Diego, maybe near the gaslamp district. The weather in SD is perfect year round.

I take early flights and get there at noon - all I see is sand and dirt.

I'd prefer San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and maybe a half dozen other west cities.
