I've easily laid 60+ people to rest in the past 48 hours ... I've kicked more asses than I've posted because page 3 was loaded with stuff, couldn't quote them all.

I appreciate the PMs, but you guys keep the ban nominations in this thread ... My PM box is perpetually 99% full.

Also, let's not get too retroactive on this. I'm only interested in cleaning up the first few pages of each sub-section. The goal here is to give honest service providers a fighting chance to keep their services on Page 1. If I can accomplish this, it will make finding quality vendors stupid easy in our SBT

Wasn't it just a month or so ago that the WF community demanded BAN power for Erect? Best damned move ever.

Some of these guys just don't get it, do they?

This guy (DATDERcontent) gets a 10 day ban from Erect. So now he gets his lackey (xcmaniac) to "instruct" people to contact him by e-mail while the ban is in effect!!

Now let's look at user: xcmanic - 6 posts and 1 iTrader (and look, the iTrader is from DATDERcontent. Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it?)

Maybe a 10 day ban isn't enough is it? Permaban?

I like this idea a lot, as it would make it easier for me to find the quality, established vendors others have given their thumbs up to. Most of the time I haven't the desire to try out a noob and just want the job done by somebody who knows what they're doing.

I also like it because I personally would qualify as a premium vendor. ;)

20+ positive trader marks is a bit draconian me thinks. I'd cut that down to 10 feedbacks at 100%, which is probably sufficient to establish credibility. An alternative to a tier system could be to sticky the top sellers so they can be found easily, or perhaps a sub-section. Something, anything to separate the wheat from the chaff would be great.

Hell yeah, much thanks erect! my stress level is already going down, the SEO area of the SBT is already looking soooo much better.

Thanks to everyone putting in the work so far, once we pull all the weeds, we just have to own the first page and swat the fly's as they come.

Perfect example of team work bitches.

The subsection/sticky idea might be good. This would let SEO threads stay in the SEO forum, content links stay in content forum, etc.

On the other hand if the top sellers list was small enough, it wouldn't matter if providers from different forums were mixed in together.

If a top providers list does come together I'd like to see solid vetting for providers to make the list.

~thread open at least x days
~used/reviewed by at least x members with posts > y and/or member longer than z
~iTrader > x or total satisfied customers in thread > y
~no BS posts or threadjacks by provider in other threads/sections of WF

Edit: then again I think Guerilla was right, this thread alone is probably going to serve the purpose.
 
This guy tomesign needs to be banned. He has been confirmed by Zodiac to have the same email address as as dinomark, which has been banned and is the same person as sunsign which posted a positive review. He gave my the sunsign & dinomark name via Gtalk.
