#1 is Michigan's own Kentucky Breakfast Stout by Founders:

Very difficult to find unless you go straight to the brewery in Grand Rapids, and at about $8/bottle it isn't cheap, but goddamn its worth it.

#2 - Young's Double Chocolate

#3 - Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter

#4 - Also form Michigan Bell's Hopslam Ale

10% ABV and it will catch up with you quick on this one.

#5 - Mother's Milk (as we Irish call it)

Only if I find myself somewhere without a good beer selection.

After drinking pretty much most of the time for the last 15 years, I started to get aches in my liver area, so now I'm tee total. Have to say not a day goes by without 'almost' having a beer. Sucks so bad!

But in an ideal world of hot-swappable livers, my beer of choice would be:

Badgers Golden Glory
Peeterman Artois
Guiness
Newcastle Brown

The list is endless, thats my problem...

If you like the hops, you gotsta get some of that Hopslam from Bell's. Not sure where you are, but you should be able to find it. Bell's is one of our biggest breweries in MI.
