Fed clears China's first US bank takeover

The United States' federal reserve is privately owned.

Why shouldn't they do whatever suits their shareholders' interests best?

What are you not sure about?

Everything in my post is 100% true.

The US Federal Reserve is privatly owned entity.

Every privately owned entity exists for one purpose - to serve its shareholders. How is that breaking news?

lol just fucking wit ya bro.

What you said is indeed 100% true, but are you seriously trying to legitimize the actions of the Fed? Your're talking as if it's just another corp like Apple or something.

It is.

It's just more important, because it rules your government(and the world, as a consequence). But in its core is just what you said... a corporation.

Im not trying to legitimize what they are doing, but they do whatever they like.

Oh and.. this is where you draw the line? After all the nasty shit they have done since their creation, this is what strikes you?

technically...but what about morally?? Can I justify the actions of a bank robber bc he's acting with his own best interests in mind?

If you think so..well hey, I can understand morality is somewhat subjective.

I'm kinda struggling with this debate honestly bc I'm a bit drunk tho..I do think my point stands lol
