First Manspreading arrest in NYC

Back in the day when the subways were privately owned, I bet they would have taken care of this problem without fines. You don't see the government handing out fines in movie theaters for people who misbehave. The employees take care of the problem.

I would have no problem with a company deciding on rules for their property that would prohibit sitting certain ways, even if I didn't agree with it.

I just want to reiterate that this was real, it actually happened, and it continues to receive political pressure right now in Sweden and other parts of the world (Taiwan being one other example).

Show me the source that a political party in Taiwan wants to make it illegal to pee standing page, because I find that had to believe. Also Taiwan has plenty of urinals and isn't really known as a stronghold for feminism. It's a pretty conservative place.

Political pressure != a political party trying to make it illegal, though they're in the initial stages of heading in that direction.

It's the EPA (Environmental Protection Administration) that's leading the charge in Taiwan. A quick Google search gives: BBC, BI and the Telegraph.

While the agency said that it cannot force men to change their habits, it will ask local governments this week to put notices in public toilets with the suggestion.

I doubt that the legislature in Taiwan would ever approve such nonsense into law. If they want to make it voluntary, I don't care. Nobody is going to comply.

I do have to agree that this whole "peeing while sitting down" thing is complete rubbish though, and feminist groups can go fuck right off when it comes to petty bullshit like this. These are the "out of touch with reality" types that I discussed earlier. It really doesn't surprise me that such radicals have more clout in a hyper leftist country like Sweden though.

The problem is that these nutjobs are trying to normalize this kind of outrageous bullshit, and it's slowly but surely working.

If you'd like an example of something equally ridiculous being normalized in a western country, take a look at rape laws in the United Kingdom now. Here's the Telegraph on it link.

If you're accused of rape, then the onus is put onto the accused to prove consent instead of the typical innocent until proven guilty approach. While the intent is to provide protection to women who may have been blackout drunk or something like that, there are always unintended results when new laws are added. In this case, it's a complete perversion of an already one-sided justice system.

Is this shit for real??

If I lived in the UK, I would be on a plane outta there the next day.

So now you're gonna have a lot of bullshit charges from women who regretted being slutty the night before. Geezus...I weep for the men over there. Just a matter of time before you're imprisoned for something you didn't do.

It's starting to get a foothold in the United States, but it's not quite there yet. It's the standard used for a ton of colleges and universities now when they're deciding whether they should kick a guy out of school over allegations.

What's more for these disciplinary hearings in particular is that they do not use the same standard as the typical justice system (aka proven beyond a reasonable doubt). Instead, they use what's basically a 50/50 criteria where they punish you if they think there's more than a 50% chance that the charges are true.

Men have smaller hips and junk in between. This is sexist crap, I can't sit like a fucking lady in finishing school, they should call that piece of shit judge the nutcracker.
