Free Alternative to Kayako

Did my research and couldn't find one that's comparable to Kayako but is free.

WF never fails me so if you have any suggestion your help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I'm aware, there's absolutely nothing within the open-source world that compares with Kayako. Sorry, but Kayako is a beast of a program, and it'd be quite the undertaking for an open-source project.

Kayako has come a long way. When it first opened up it was only $250 for an owned self install license.

Now ofcourse it's quite expensive as they made it by seat.

I guess it depends what your looking for from Kayako? The Tickets? Live Chat?

Kayako is a beast. We just rolled onto a real license for MSM - I wouldn't imagine it any other way. Only because of the fact that Kayako is ... a fucking beast.

However if you're looking for something that's free and even somewhat close... I see a lot of companies using osTicket:: Open Source Support Ticket System which IMO is a piece of shit.

However, however. You didn't specify if you're talking tickets or chat. For chat, however there actually is a comparable that IS free - Live Help, Live Chat, Live Support Software by LiveZilla

So yeah, not sure which one you're talkin' about but check those 2 out. But to be honest, Kayako's worth the $$$.

I had a Kayako (helpdesk) license 7 years ago. It was the bomb then.
