Mainly it's because cars are huge liabilities. I'm trying to generate wealth as much as possible. Sure having generated "a lot of money" these last couple years has been great, but in the grand scheme of things, I'd rather not blow this amazing opportunity I have been given to leverage money to make a ton more.
Beyond that...
It was originally for my wife (who was my girlfriend at the time). Being half Japanese... she's a big honda lover (and frugal). Anyways... to make a long story short, her parents ended up practically giving us their other car after we got married. - A Toyota 4 runner.
And that brings us to the current time... We have two cars... and are fine with them.
Beyond clothes and some small toys (PS3, etc) and the normal cost of living, we really try to spend most of our money on assets or donating it.
