Fuck the Drug War

Why wouldn't any politicians be brave enough to get behind this? It's already happened in many countries around the world and they have seen the benefits.
US politicians don't embrace things for pragmatic reasons: They are slaves to politics and endless posturing. Decriminalizing drugs would invite opponents to paint them as "soft on crime" and "coddling criminals" at election time, so they simply vote for whatever sounds toughest.

You might see a couple of politicians in liberal states such as VT or WI sponsoring a bill like this, but most of the rest of them won't touch it.

Yes, we're fucked up.

Legalized slavery - I know I was there (although not in a private prison). Had to bust my ass for $3.13/day. What we worked on was at the discretion of our crew boss and it generally involved, roofing, waterproofing basements, resurfacing parking lots etc for their buddies businesses. Nice hustle they had pimpin us out. 8 men for $25/day = thousands saved every week.

Yo Dude-- you were in that "Cool Hand Luke" movie?

That's really ballin!

What if their intelligence wasn't just off-base, but completely wrong as well?
What if they burst in, killing his dogs and found absolutely NOTHING?

"Sorry about the mess sir, have a nice evening"

i don't see too much of a difference there.

This is such bullshit they shouldnt of have touched the dog especially since it was small id understand a husky thats foaming at the mouth

I wish weed rebills existed. I bet that would kill in Cali.
I second this.

That video is so fucked up though. I wish the media would actually highlight videos like this instead of the bullshit we see on TV today. And with everyone in politics trying to please someone else, it's no surprise the whole systems corrupt. :/

you know how much society would fail if drugs were legalized. lol.

Yes fail so hard. Luckily legal drugs are nothing like illegal drugs! The legal drugs are so very safe and tame on the human body, allowing perfect function in every day society.

Ever try to have a real conversation with someone on a lot of oxy? Yeah, fun.

What prison were you at? Or do you not want to disclose? Wait, you're from the U.K. aren't you? In which case my question wouldn't matter because I don't know any UK prisons or know anyone in any UK prisons.

But yea, it's fucked. But at the same time, once you're locked up you're praying that they let you out to work slave wages just to get some fresh air and keep busy....fucked up. They know what they're doing and they got a sweet fucking hustle going on, modern day slavery under the guise of public safety.

I was on that stuff after surgery. I couldn't think straight and I was on a relatively low dose.

I also went through withdrawal after being on it. I couldn't sleep for 36 hours, my heart was racing, etc. I was only on it for two weeks.

I have no idea why that is legal but a plant is not...

^ Codone or contin? + its as legal as weed is. You can't get either legally without a script (or a medical card for weed but you get the idea)

Oh and mattfca, society would be a better place if drugs were legalized. Less diseases from alcohol, no more putting people to jail and ruining lives with drugs charges, pure drugs not cut with harmful substances, less organized crime etc etc.
