I skimmed through this and fuck I thought it's like this only in over dramatized b-rated movies. Granted I'm from Europe and we have our own set of baggage here but this is insane:

My brain hurts after watching 5 minutes of this. Seen another similar movie before. I think it's a series or somethin
 
Based on the intro (and not watching any further) I'm guessing this is based around "Top 6" in West Palm Beach/Miami. Those fuckers are one crazy ass group of Haitians.

There was an episode of Gangland devoted to those fuckers (episode 55 it looks like, "Gangsta Killers"). One of the most violent groups in the country. The supposed "leader" got 65 years in prison last year for racketeering and conspiracy to commit racketeering. Fucker didn't even have to answer for the all the murders he's either directly or in-directly been involved with.

But, no. It's not just in B-movies, at least not over here.
 
My ex girlfriend is a young adult psychologist that deals with troubled teens. She talked to inner city gang members from Bankhead (one of the worst neighborhoods in America), etc. a lot.

Imagine a tiny little mid-20s white girl from Alpharetta (affluent suburb of Atlanta) sitting in a room alone with these fuckers.

But she wasn't scared...because they're just kids. Sure, they show off for their friends and act all hard and do insane, violent things at times but only because they believe they have to. They think they're stuck in that life.

But she'd always tell me that most would tell her - after bawling their eyes out for half an hour - that they wanted nothing more than to live in a good family, go to a good school, and live a good life. But they believe they can't have that, so they do this.

Most of these kids are just victims of growing up in a shitty place to shitty parents and they stay in shitty places and become shitty parents, thus repeating the cycle ad nauseum.

In b4 privileged kids act all holier-than-thou about how much smarter they are than gang members.

When I did my behavior psych internship at Jackson State Pen. during college, this was generally the story I heard/saw/was told by the younger inmates that had been in gangs. Many of them were coming out of areas like Flint and Detroit. It was incredibly sad.

The homes most of these "kids" were coming from were lucky to have one parent that wasn't in "the game" or strung out, let alone two. The sense of hopelessness and worthlessness was generally instilled at an extremely young age. With no parents around to show them any other kind of lifestyle and basically becoming feral/"street kids" they never knew anything else was possible.

Just fucking sad, because some of them were naturally incredibly intelligent. If they'd been shown a way out (other than the basketball court or gridiron) who knows how well they could have done.

Well it's not only their parents and upbringing. Unfortunately, the culture in the ghetto is even more anti-intellectual than the Republican party (lol).

When you have people sitting there encouraging acting like an idiot and discouraging learning and bettering yourself this shit will happen. Basically it's socially un-cool to be, act, or strive to be intelligent in their culture. It's basically a tool, used by the dumb and lazy, to make those who want to better themselves feel out of place.
 
If we bring back the draft in the US this problem would be solved in 2 generations. Instead of paying our tax money for them to be in prison or on welfare, we should be training them on how to reach their goals, have discipline and self respect and contribute to society rather than plague it, which is what military service would do them.

No. The military shouldn't be used as kindergarten for people that don't want to be there.

The last thing I'd want in a mission-critical situation is to have to rely on some dipshit that was pushed into that situation against his will.

All that would do is punish the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines that do their job professionally and well.

Retention of these high-caliper individuals would plummet and all you'd have left were the dregs.
 
Also, US laws concerning guns don't help in situations like this for sure.

Though on a second thought, gangs will get weapons one way or the other.. so who knows.

It'd also be interesting to see how many kill each others by accident just by flaunting their guys around with their fingers on the trigger all the time.
 
after watching 12 min of this pure waste of human life it looks like in that part of the world it is common practice to kick someone once he is on the ground, regardless of opinion or sides, once a man is down everyone kicks him.
 
this should be a perfect case for all those that oppose the right to bear arms. Look at all these animals with their arsenals... do you really want to be unarmed when one of these fuckers decides to take your car after you made a wrong turn?

This is why I have mad respect for people that made it out the ghetto.
