Shh.... Android Devs - submit your Android app to BB AppWorld by Feb 13 and get a free Playbook --> tools here: http://bit.ly/w758Ci

It's actually simple as fuck to do, it's just an automated conversion. All I had to do was resize an icon.

Does anyone know if they manually review all apps? I've never had a BB and I'm still waiting for my App World account to be activated. I just hope they will ship to the UK (didn't see anything in the T+C)

This article has quite a good story on the possible motives behind this offer

Thanks for the link. I'm definitely interested in creating mobile apps, however, I don't think I can do one befor Feb 13th. Do you think I can just create an app that directs to one of my websites or something?

Yeah, what you could do is just have an HTML based app and just have the actual app acts as a container, serving stored HTML pages.

It should be as simple as

Code:
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        super.loadUrl("file:///android_asset/www/index.html");    }
}

Alternatively, you could just download some sample source code of a full app from a tutorial (like a simple game or a notepad app or something) compile it then submit to BB.

The only potential problem is the manual review process (which I'm still not sure exists)
