Honestly don't know what the big deal is. It simply allows them to teach it, not that it's going to be a once sided thing. Although I wouldn't doubt if some places did (ie religious schools). However when I was in high school we where taught about both theories. So get your panties in a bunch if you want.

And it also brings about the question, if they are going to teach one religions fantasy about the origins of life, are they are going to have to teach about them all?

I like how this shit never happens in math. You never have some kid in algebra class learning that x + 4 = 7 because God created x to be 3.
Math is a different domain of knowledge with a different set of rules.
Measuring how much you love someone also doesn't conform to the standards and logic of math. Or how good ice cream tastes. Or which is the more enjoyable football team to cheer for.
