When anyone preaching anarchism or "true freedom" can give me an example of a group of peoples that were able to survive as a civilized society without some form or hierarchy (which is all government is, and is found in every natural ecosystem in existence) then I'll buy into your Utopian bullshit. Again, we don't live in the world we want, we live in the world we have. And the only way to change the status quo is through a violent and bloody revolution, something that I'd be willing to bet my life on that most of the people preaching against the "state" don't have to stomach to actually do.

I know it's hip and trendy to hate on America on wickedfire but honestly I feel like the luckiest mother fucker to even be born here. I've visited my parents homeland and there is nothing there but dirt, violence, and poverty and my life could have easily been a complete 180 of what it is now. No America isn't perfect and yes we have some stupid laws and leaders that draft and enforce those laws but so does every other developed country in the world.

I always find it amusing that people here complain so much about what a horrible country this is and how the police state is suffocating their freedoms yet they choose to remain a part of it even though they are perfectly capable of placing a call to the state department and begin the process of renouncing their citizenship. Hell if you're a true anarchist what the fuck are you doing waiting around for this government or any other government to give you permission on what to do? In every country there are people who operate under their own rules and regulations outside of the law, there is no reason why you can't do the same here or abroad.

Today I am going to eat a steak from the best part of the cow, drink a couple of the best German beers in the world, smoke a couple good cigars from the Dominican Republic, and all of these make me happy, and I don't have to travel to get these, and I can do them regularly and have money left over. Ah the ol' "If you don't like it leave" argument. How about if I don't like it, I attempt to change it by educating myself more and others, and not be a stubborn quitter? I don't think it's horrible here, either.

A Moment of Silence for the 4th of July

Today, for July 4th here in the United States, I choose to honor my long lost republic with a moment of silence, in memory of the great experiment that died long, long ago.

I invite all Libertarians, all Minarchists, and even all Anarchists to join me in this tradition, where we remember what we could have had if only we hadn't let it be stolen by bankers and corporations a century ago.

If not for Liberty-minded people like us, the real America would have already been purged from all history books. It is our Duty to pay homage to the original vision of our forefathers and keep their dream alive so at the very least a future generation can revive it.

If not us, then who?

When the sheeple, including sheepish members of your own family (we all have a few) observe you practicing this tradition, it is an opportunity for you to explain that everything our forefathers fought for in the 1770s was long gone before we were born. Just break it gently to them, it's not easy for most laymen to take.

RIP America. You were really something special.

Meanwhile, here in the real world, we'll recognize the accepted date of America's independence and birth as a nation of united citizens working towards a common goal. (even if we aren't all that united).

What "common goal" was that? There had already been people here for thousands of years. Even if we don't count them, we are still left with something like 1 in 4 "Americans" who were loyal to the British in 1776.
