Good choices. As far as all you whiners about the paid part of the forum, 35$ a month isn't not much money, that's only 1$ a day. One pepsi a day for good information sounds pretty cheap to me.
As far as releasing premium content in the paid section out into the wild; I think it's a good idea however if it's posted by members make sure you ask before putting it in public. I share a lot of stuff on private forums I wouldn't want released to the public as it would saturate that market for it pretty quickly. But with a limited number of people it's not nearly as bad. The other thing that's important is make sure you set a rule that if someone is caught reposting ideas from the paid forum on the public they get banned.
