Alright so after seeing a five page, indexed thread on a topic that I would say most definitely concerns my network, I figured I’d get in on the fun too.
To clear the air from the get go, Dustin has been a friend of mine in the affiliate marketing world for the past year or so and has always come across as a nice guy. We started off working together in that garbage pit known as incent and then moved to exchanging non-incent neutraceutical campaigns.
Now, with that said, YES, Express Revenue was the advertiser in question in this issue, and to reiterate yet again, YES, Dustin and CPARev were paid $28,000+ from us in mid-July and then a further $11,000+ payment about three weeks ago. So when I got Justin’s initial e-mail where I’m told that my “buddy” is allegedly not only using me as a scapegoat , but flat out defacing my network’s credibility, I’m sure you can imagine the shock and frustration that I felt.
After responding to Justin (which we’ve all read as it appears on page 1 of this topic) I immediately tried to get in touch with Dustin, left a voicemail, and received one back where he says that: what Justin is telling me is not true, that we weren’t even the advertiser in question (he claimed he was waiting to be paid direct by the Acai offer in question), and he acknowledges that we did pay him the stated amounts. Oh, and believe me, the voicemail has been saved and archived in case we all need to hear it later.
So yea, Express Revenue was labeled as the advertiser “notorious for payment issues” after we had paid them out over $39,000 in a span of three weeks. And on top of this we weren’t even the advertiser that CPARev was waiting on payment from. Just my attempt to add some more transparency to an issue that seems to be this week’s center of attention. If anyone has any questions or anything like that feel free to contact me at
Jake@ExpressRevenue.com and I’ll get back to you. And as a side note, ER is not a new network, and we can afford to float practically any amount needed to cover our affs, just saying ;-)
