How did you earn your first buck online?

Lets see:

  • I was importing mobile accessories from China and selling them locally when I was about 13 years old. I also became a moderator on the Alibaba forums when I was 14 years old.
  • Peddling MMO ebooks on DigitalPoint before I was making money from marketing. As long as you put together a good book with a sound theory on making money, put in some pretty pictures, people were buying it left and right. At one point I was racking in $10,000 a month from sales. This was back when I was 15.

I was 12 years old at the time.

1. Bought a book that contained thousands of retired and active Major League Baseball players addresses.
2. Used my dial-up AOL account to hit up the various AOL baseball bulletin boards to post up ads offering $5 per address (this was prior to PayPal).
3. People would send $5 cash to my HOUSE and I'd then email them their selected baseball player's home address address.

I probably sold a few until I got scared and was flamed by people for selling supposed "private" info. $5 - dat's gangsta.

But you didn't make it unless you have a tag troll.

Only so many people can comment in a tread titled "When did you get your first tag troll online"

Okay I'm curious. You want to fuck or something? I know you do.

Please give me some motivation. I have not been feeling very inspired lately. I have earned my first bucks online a long time ago. It was with PPC.

How did you earn your first buck/pay check online?

My first online earning was from minuteworkers that is about $15 before 2 years ago:)

First off was with domain parking - sad really.

Then adsense followed by Amazon and a few different affiliate programs (nothing huge unfortunatley). Haven't cracked a niche yet where I've successfully sold any CB... still working on that one and others. Would still consider myself very much a peasant.

When I was 13/14 I ran Adsense on a Neopet help website. Think that was probably first, can't remember what my first cheque was for, probably $xx. I remember seeing the shoemoney cheque a few months later and being "holy shit!".

Then did standard stuff like buying OEM software in bulk, reselling it on ebay individually for 1/6 the price of the standard software. Made & flipped a couple of tiny websites for a few hundos.

Pretty much hooked ever since. Just be nice if I could make more money now than I did back then with that neopet site, fucking Adsense blocking my accounts for "fraud clicks" lolzzzz.

ebay selling jewelry believe it or not

everyone at my work laughed at me until I showed them my ebay account

Had a site I made on Angelfire around the age of 9 or 10 that was basically a link directory for download warez/hacking/phreaking related shit. Had banner ads/etc. on there but never made substantial cash from it but definitely got a few checks - so this was probably my first internet income. If I had a fucking clue what I was doing back then I could have easily made so much more.

wrote dating tips for an email "newsletter" that pre-sold pheremone sprays to socially awkward neckbeards who wanted to get chicks.

no joke.

And now you post on Wickedfire, kind of came full circle.

First banner bars in the veins of alladvantage
Then some weird MLM...lucked out and made the The Top Sellers list. Used the Money to buy my first computer (I was a teenager). Made me realize, that there is potential. Then lost my residual income because everyone below me in the organisation realized what a bunch of crap i was selling them. I still hovered around the "make money online" niche and sold worthless ebooks.

Then i went into adult and build up a monthly income...then a scam e-money provider (epassporte) stole all my money to finance a 30 Million $ piece of shit movie - and tube sites appeared.

Now I'm trying to build a more sustainable business.

Created a World of Warcraft account selling website- would buy and sell accounts.

Pulled some decent margins, amazing how much more people are willing to pay when you come across as professional in such a 'dirty' industry. Some serious headaches though, very hard to lock down ownership on virtual goods.

I had a similar operation when I was around 14. I was buying/selling/trading game accounts from runescape to world of warcraft. Just buying and reselling them. Before that I learned ways to invest in rare objects in various games, wait for economic collapse within the game, sell at a major profit and cash out later for fiat money.

Later I learned domaining, eventually leading me into IM world.

Making money is just fun...

I started out writing shitty 200-word articles to be used on linkfarms for a guy I met in a chat room. I then got a grasp for why he was doing it, and started to realize the huge potential of earning online.

So, I continued working with said guy for a while, eventually moving on from copywriting to, basically, acting as a VA. If he needed something done, I'd do it (no homo). This helped me develop nice, well-rounded skills. Technical, design, writing -- you name it, I learned to do it.

Then a funny thing happened. I looked around at others earning online, Warrior Forum or elsewhere, and it dawned on me. "I am more intelligent than 99% of these people. I'm a harder worker than 99% of those people. Last, but not least, I have a bigger dick than 100% of these people."

At this point, I knew it was time for me to break free and go out on my own. So I did, and here I am, ready to amass my fortune.

Not to sound arrogant, but after reading the Enlightened Members section, I can truly say I've not learned anything significant. I've already picked it all up, despite being in the game a relatively short time.

Everything CCarter and company knows? I learned all of that in a matter of a few short months.

If these guys are considered some of the best-of-the-best, then I have no doubts that I can become the G.O.A.T. of Internet marketing in due time.

No one here should doubt me.

sold photos of my dick to Abby & Brittany Hensel summer of '09 over skype/paypal for $2 each ($5 for my taint).

That was the day I knew I was made for this shit.
