Adult affiliate programs in the 90s via bulk e-mail on lists I got free from friends who had used them up, millions and millions of e-mails sent from my home connection 
Once that dried adult affiliate link injection.
This was in 9th, and 10th grade. I also recall writing AOL programs in VB3 to gather e-mails from chat rooms, and bulk e-mail, but I forget if that was for adult affiliate or something else
Next up was importing from China, and the whole eBay thing while that was hot, and then AdSense when that came out, etc... etc...

My first dollar made online was selling advertising after building a web site, this was pre adsense days. Then it was flipping a couple websites followed by 5 years of running a web hosting company

I found an affiliate program for discount Adwords/FB Ad Vouchers, and started dropping links in the comment section of every single website/blog that showed up for the keyword "buy adwords voucher."
Two days later, I made $2.04. I almost shat myself, considering it was my first attempt at IM.
A month later, I had accumulated over $65 from literally 30 minutes of "work."
Sadly, the copy in my thinly veiled comment spam was probably the best I've ever written... even to this day lol
