Are internet marketers violent? Let's see...

I guess it depends where you live too... but personally I think the only times I got physical was when I was drunk in a bar (and 90% of the times because of a girl), but the last real fight I can think of was in High School so a loooong time ago.

I'm not a confrontational guy and would ideally avoid conflict. Actually I never hit first. The only thing that could make me lose it is if you hurt someone I love.

What about you gangstazzz?

been in a few, try to avoid at all costs - second i read body language (biting lip, animated movements, yelling etc). i strike first, everytime. my 'click' of friends also know the drill, we always rabbit punch first - no hood goon is going to sit in my face and yell n shit. also helps i roll with some MMA buddies. but honestly, fighting is never an answer, just a quick solution. win some lose some, its just the nature of the game.

The last fight I got into was probably 9 or 10 years ago. My girlfriend bumped some guy's table at a strip club and the top sloshed off his full beer. He used one of the advertisement postcards on the table as a scoop to throw the beer on her.

I demanded he apologize but he refused so I hauled off and decked him. He rose up out of his chair and got under me and literally threw me 10 feet onto a table that collapsed like some wild west brawl. All the strippers in the place leaped up onto the stage for safety. My buddy knocked him to the ground and proceeded to stomp him while I struggled to get at him, being restrained by a gorilla of a bouncer.

I literally levitated out of the place, my feet didn't touch the ground. They threw my friend and I out the back door, along with the guy we were fighting, but they didn't realize there were actually about 10 of us there. They took a look around and grabbed the guy back up and took him back inside for his safety I guess, probably sent him out another door or something.

It was the tail end of a staff Xmas party and we all look back and laugh at that one. Drunken stupidity that I try not to repeat.

Ugh. Street fighting is for brain-dead idiots.

Don't get me wrong, I've trained MMA for over 10 years and love it. But that's completely different than being a posturing retard.

I have a similar story. Some chick threw her drink on me for refusing to move out of what she had decided was "her seat" and I called her a word i've never called another woman in my life and dove at her and got held back by my then boyfriend. Her boyfriend went at my boyfriend and somehow we got tossed out and that little !@#% stayed.

I'd like to blame it on the alcohol but it still really pisses me off to this day. What a little !@#$.

MMA is for faags, bar fighting is for real men.

I'm gonna pay for that comment @ the PNW meetup, methinks. ;)

Once in grade school, grade school shit.

Once in High School, but I didn't hit back the guy could have destroyed me. Got one day in school suspension for swearing during the altercation, he got 2 days for physical violence. He was a mega jock (wrestling) and I got the raw end of the deal. Guy was always a straight jack ass.

Carma caught up with him a few years out of High School when he killed his girlfriend in a drunk driving accident.

I don't know many Adults that get into fights. I used to fight all the time, it was a way of life in high school where I lived. You either fought or got your ass kicked.

In Houston, most people fight with there guns, from what I see on the news.

used to all the time when I was a kid now not much. but have been running into some situations at bars , and a few gas stations lately and need to start taking Krav Maga soon

I think 3-4 times in the last decade. I usually try diplomacy first unless the situation is "immediate", but just like when nations fail at talking, sometimes you gotta drop gloves and go to fuckin WAR.

Happens.

I thought mass brawls and affiliate conferences went hand in hand with you affiliate gangsters?! lol.

I think if someone comes at you then you do what you have to do, but going out looking for fights with all the drama when business is your thing ain't the best idea.

But, you started a club in the basement of a bar with the sole purpose being to fight each other, didn't you?

Or am I thinking of another Tyler Durden?

Oh, wait...yeah all the time. We just don't talk about it. It's the first rule.
