If you don't drink regularlly then you're not going to be able to NOT get drunk. If you're serious the only way would be to consistenly keep drinking and build up a tolerance. That's what I've done, been drinking almost nightly since my late teens, last 3 years I was at almost 1.5 liters of vodka a day/night. I would drink almost 24 hrs., and I really do mean 24 hrs., I have insomnia so this is how it all started. If I would wake up in the middle of the night I would already have a drink ready on the table next to my bed to drink and try to get back to sleep.
Needless to say, I'm having much worst side effects besides insomnia. I honestly didn't know any better or didn't care, but it takes me quite a bit to get drunk now. I still drink nightly, switched to beer about 6 months ago, and found a new hobby - internet marketing to keep me busy so I don't get bored and feel like drinking.
When I do go out to drink at bars, I often get turned by bartenders or kicked out since they say I've been drinking too much. I can drink like water, and I don't usually end up getting really drunk until after many drinks and even then I don't throw up. Although my system really is tore up and definately feel it for days after I've been out drinking.
I'm still probably not in any condition to keep drinking, still do, think about my future all the time, chriosis, liver failure, kidney dialysis, and what-not.. just giving you some insight on what you're trying to achieve or accomplish among your peers doesn't really matter in the greater scheme of things.
