How's the commitment to success going?

absolutely nothing so far unless you count access to old posts I never read anyways

You're lying. I've heard you guys have been flown on private jet to Necker Island to meet Richard Branson and his crew and work on a huge new project that will revolutionize the gay webmaster community. Why are you hiding this from us? I know we can't afford the subscription costs but can we at least dare to dream?

No, we go some place though. Someplace warm. A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I'm talking about a little place called Aspen.

What we're seeing here now broskis is probably the one last big WF's drama just before it takes its last breath... collapses on itself and dies off abandoned... a ghost town but never forgotten

I still believe this forum can be saved:

1) Revert back to original state
2) Hire 2-3 ACTIVE mods (not lazy asses) that will ban any DP like behavior.
3) Re-enable WF partnerships that were cancelled with the affiliate industry like events, parties and such. (That's actually how I learned about WF in the first place.)
4) ?
5) Profit

or nothing will happen. its just a forum - its not your father. seems a little over criticized for a forum. the forum has and continues to retain eyeballs in the BST. that's what WF is for most people - a BST to seek/push services on. it always has been BST and STS - and though STS is a little stale due to lack of eagles and grunins making the news, owell, change happens.

It's like an iceberg, you'll never see most of the people who matter [not you] - because they dont post on the forum and have just a high enough post count to PM people to buy their seo. And they're not going to stop coming to BST even if everyone in this thread leaves.

So I don't even get the mad feels. If you mad that STS isn't active - make some news. If you mad at the whole "our content we wrote is now private" - i still don't get what valuable information anyone is talking about - anything truly valuable is outdated as fuck because this isn't information applicable years later - internet marketing are 2 words that each are synonymous with constant change, so combined - i don't know what use is in that section, never been.

The basics don't date yet most don't grasp the basics. One of the most popular posts in there of recent times was a curated regurgitation of WaFo level snippets that had been doing the rounds for years. People were on their knees lapping it. A post about faking being a brand. haha. I'm sure some people thought they were in the presence of the second coming.

There was good timeless stuff in there but more focus was on the faking-it rot.

If WickedFire is such an non-priority afterthought to Jon, why doesn't he simply place the forum in the hands of a competent, trustworthy management team? The forum can prosper, and Jon can make some bank from it with little to no involvement.

I'm sure there's no shortage of useful idiots who'd happily run this place for free.

I don't think "useful idiots" is a good choice of words when anyone with half a brain who's been here for a decent amount of time could realize just how beneficial this community has been. I offered my help a year ago for free since I had some extra time, but Jon never really took it serious, I guess. Regardless, the word "free" in this context means: solidify connections, build more rep, and improve a community with a large talent pool.

Where the fuck did Jon go? Did he release his tax statements yet? Is there a bunch of cool new content we're not allowed to see, because we're not committed to success?
