As the title implies, I have this issue that seems to be becoming more and more of a problem, I hate every job I have to the point where I find a new one. Ill be honest, ive only been working for like 3-4 years and ive been through 3-4 different jobs...
I worked at a feed store lumping hay and grain - Honestly, I liked this job the most, it was manual labor and you have a pretty solid chance of long term back problems but it was chill and you got to talk to cool(most of them at least) customers all day...
I worked for a commercial glass contractor - I could pretty much do I what I wanted any time at that place. Got laid off because it got extremely slow..
I worked for Safeway (Large grocery store chain for those of you who dont know) in their IT department. They kind of lied to me about the details of the job. They told me I would be driving around my area fixing support tickets. When, in fact, I was driving up to the Oregon border (6 hour drive) and staying for a week or 2 at a time.... In the 3 months I worked there, I was home for 3 weeks - My daily commute was about 3 hours each way...Shit got old fast..
Now, I work for a web design company that does sites for dentists and oral surgeons, etc. They run this place like a Nazi prison camp. They told me and some of the other new people. "If you have an emergency, then we will try to give you the requested time off, but we cant guarantee it, the needs of the company come first" - Hah, right.. Fuck you...
Pretty much, to sum it up, ive hated or almost hated every job ive had since I left the feed store. Is it possible for someone to just not be cut out to work for someone else? Ive always wanted to own my own business and im getting my business license this week for my web design company...
