As the title implies, I have this issue that seems to be becoming more and more of a problem, I hate every job I have to the point where I find a new one. Ill be honest, ive only been working for like 3-4 years and ive been through 3-4 different jobs...

I worked at a feed store lumping hay and grain - Honestly, I liked this job the most, it was manual labor and you have a pretty solid chance of long term back problems but it was chill and you got to talk to cool(most of them at least) customers all day...

I worked for a commercial glass contractor - I could pretty much do I what I wanted any time at that place. Got laid off because it got extremely slow..

I worked for Safeway (Large grocery store chain for those of you who dont know) in their IT department. They kind of lied to me about the details of the job. They told me I would be driving around my area fixing support tickets. When, in fact, I was driving up to the Oregon border (6 hour drive) and staying for a week or 2 at a time.... In the 3 months I worked there, I was home for 3 weeks - My daily commute was about 3 hours each way...Shit got old fast..

Now, I work for a web design company that does sites for dentists and oral surgeons, etc. They run this place like a Nazi prison camp. They told me and some of the other new people. "If you have an emergency, then we will try to give you the requested time off, but we cant guarantee it, the needs of the company come first" - Hah, right.. Fuck you...

Pretty much, to sum it up, ive hated or almost hated every job ive had since I left the feed store. Is it possible for someone to just not be cut out to work for someone else? Ive always wanted to own my own business and im getting my business license this week for my web design company...

Right on man. Do your own thing. That's the way to go.

I've had shitty jobs all up until last year. Part-time web design, banquet waiter, K-mart, banquet waiter again, customer service rep for welfare insurance and so on.

I've never had a career though since I graduated college last year. I figured I will jump into my own business. Right out of college would be the best time because if I fuck up, who cares.

Ha ha a business license? Thats funny...I make lots of money online and it is almost all automated... Myspace and other stuff. Didn't need a 'business license' either. If you can't mak money online in spie of being on these forums for many months its cause your not too smart.

Armpitpatal, im glad you have something worthwhile to contribute...

Im getting a business license because im not focusing just on internet marketing and spamming MySpace you fuckin douche

Im getting a business license because I do web design and as the number of clients I have goes up the more and more inclined I am to have a real business front, and to have a seperate business checking account that I will end up using for marketing purposes as well...

Thinking about it now, I have about $1000-$1200 a month in monetary obligations - Ive also been talking to a client I did a site for, I think I may put my EMT license to use working part time for an ambulance company - Probably run like 2x 16 hour shifts....

ha ha your posts make me laugh

Judging by your writing it appears you are deficient in gray matter. Money is money. If you were making money online as easily as me you woudn't be jealous.

I fuckin' *hate* real jobs, and I've only had a couple of 'em myself. Use that 'fire' to motivate you to make it on your own. And based on your posts I've read, it sounds like you'll have no problem.

There's really no reason to work for someone else...

join the club- can't wait until I can work for myself full time. wish I had a nice little trust fund or something to fund my while I work at my income level though - it would be easier not having a full time job on top of everything else!

Can someone ban this fucker, I really believe this is the same guy as Windowsoft, he's just constantly posting one liners and giving regulars a bad time. You really need to get a life.

If you knew anything you would know that a business license is very important and if you were making any money at all you would also know that there are many tax benefits to having a business license asshat.

Funny, I think the same about you.

You don't make jack shit. If you did, you wouldn't be talking so much shit. You're just a dumb kid who's out of school for the summer and decided to fuck around on the WF forums. Don't lie to try to be impressive.

Reefer420 - No shit, trying to do marketing and building sites for clients while working a full time job is a pain in the ass.

Im like a month or 2 behind just on clients websites... I dont want to even think about how bad im neglecting some of my own sites...

I never had a real job, I went from school, straight into this :)

Same here, I have always either done freelance and consulting work for people or worked for myself..I don't think I could ever have a job where I work for someone, I don't have the right mindset, my ambitions are too high.

LazyD.. you chickened out at a job opportunity and still bitch about your current one.

Time to grow some balls and change employers or just quit and do your own thang.

::emp::

emp - I ended up talking to those guys from DiasPages.Com - They were a bunch of hacks and told me that they thought they would be able to pay me when I was first interested, but decided that all they can give me was stock or equity and I would be required to work 6 days a week...

Besides that, the portion of the site that was done, was out sourced, the 2 guys that ran it dont know any technical shit...Simply hands off...

Sorry im not working 6 days a week for equity because someone thought they would re-invent the yellow pages.....
