But I can't decide what to do. I'm not passionate about anything...

I'm planning on quitting my job next week, so I can give it 100% of my focus, whatever it is.

I keep going back in forth in my head. Do I want to spend 6 months designing a physical product? Do I want to make mobile apps? Do I want to buy a a franchise? Do I want to invest in rental properties? Do I want to give affiliate marketing a shot again? Nothing seems that appealing.

I have two engineering degrees, but don't have enough real-life experience to really utilize them. Besides, engineering doesn't excite me anymore.

I just want to find something that will reward me for my efforts, not necessarily the risk I take.

If your'e not passionate about any products, your'e going to have to get passionate about the money and if you can't get passionate about the money, you are pretty screwed. You will need some sort of anchor to keep you in when things get tough.

This is why the best thing he can do is to lose most to all of his money. That'll hopefully put a fire under his ass.

It's an interesting problem.

You make a decent amount of money, passively.
It seems quite stable, even if it dies, you won't be out on the street any time soon.
So why build anything you aren't passionate about, but would be profitable?
It's much more interesting to go live life / learn for the sake of learning.

OP - You just started this thread today.

It seems like you do have an idea of what you want to do. I'm not even sure why you created this thread. Just do your idea and see the project out. Don't create 10 projects and hope something happens. Hope gets you no where. Hard work gives you a chance.

No one on this forum can guarantee you success. (except maybe ly2)
