School will always be an option for the non-entrepreneurs of the world. Good for her for dropping out and focusing on her business. For those that think school is the be all and end all, I guess these high school drop outs have no clue:

Albert Einstein
Henry Ford
Walt Disney
Abraham Lincoln
Dave Thomas (Wendy's)
Harlan Sanders (KFC)
Thomas Edison
Benjamin Franklin
Elton John (Sexy)
William Shakespeare
Frank Sinatra
George Washington
Bill Gates
This Fat 17 year old Kid

You just don't need the educational background if you're going out on your own. You DO need it if you're going to be one of those hamsters doing the 9 to 5 garbage.

Gates dropped out of college not highshool and high school didnt exist in Shakespeare's or Franklin's time.

The vast majority of people who drop out of high school live at poverty level; even really talented people. Countless aspiring musicians, actors, writers, film makers, athletes, and some entrepreneurs drop out of highschool & college only to wallow in poverty.

Exceedingly few high schoolers make that much money so I image she will easily succeed.
 
Read that article thoroughly, she dropped out from OFFLINE high school, but is taking some ONLINE high school course.

what's the problem here?

yeah it doesnt seem like that big of a deal. There are a million myspace resource sites, she probably just got in early. Unless she does more than just that.

she definately shouldnt have dropped out of highschool, a myspace resource site isnt going to make you money forever.

For those of you who were all angry that she dropped out of HS, she's apparently taking college courses now so relax.
 
It seems, to me, a mistake to announce how much you make to such a wide audience. Unless, like shoemoney or similar, you are trying to create buzz which you can turn into profit and authority. Basically she is bragging, no?

Yup. and since her userbase is a bunch of teenage girls, the jealousy will begin (as we can see here!) and they will leave her site
 
It's not that she doesn't have the right to, but it just seems that in her situation she would be better off playing the "just one of the girls" rather than "just one of the internet moguls."
