Israel just shot up the aide ships in international waters, at least 20 dead.

And even if their blockade of Gaze is in place(even though they claim to have pulled out), it's illegal according to 102B of International Humanitarian Law:

102. The declaration or establishment of a blockade is prohibited if:

(a) it has the sole purpose of starving the civilian population or denying it other objects essential for its survival; or

(b) the damage to the civilian population is, or may be expected to be, excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage anticipated from the blockade.

it's worse because you need to pull the trigger a lot more. Auto weapon? Oh it was just 1-2 guys going berzerk and emptying a clip into a crowd. 80 casualties with guns? That's multiple times to aim and pull the trigger.

if they didn't want to get hurt, they shouldn't have attacked a ship in international waters where their actions were the act of piracy and where the people on the ship had full LEGAL right to defend themselves.

And that's full defense, they could have used an RPG to take down the chopper, and legally they would have been justified in that defense.

of course there were 4 activists on each soldier. What dumbass commander, drops the troops one at a time?

Not only do you contradict yourself, you are also misleading with the numbers with every post you make, and thats enough to reveal your intentions. Ima done talking to yaaa

my numbers haven't changed 10-20 dead, 50-60 wounded = 80 casualties...and your location is jewland...so color me surprised that you are trying to dismiss negative news about the Fatherland.

I hope you'll remember this attack as the moment Israel lost all credibility worldwide.

Do I think Israel will be attacked over this? Probably not...I mean there is a chance, but it's very slim....but I do think that this will start a chain of events that will eventually lead to it.

I believe the next step will be Turkey sending a few warships with the next humanitarian group for protection. At which point Israel would have to either let them through/lift the blockade or start a war with the 3rd largest military in NATO. And my guess if that happens Turkey won't be alone. And don't hope for those nukes you have to save you, since Turkey also has a number of nukes too.

^ You are a fucktard man, a fucking fucktard who knows shit about politics, israel, or the mid-east. I was trying so hard to be nice to you despite the fact you sound like a 14yo MW2 player who talks about RPGs, warships, and 30 bullets in m16 magazines. Now with your last reply i figure you are a 14yo fuckface afterall.

Now if you excuse me

Flotilla of fools

In January, the Free Gaza website gave the first mention of the flotilla of boats that are now starting on their way towards Gaza.

The ships are trying to bring some 10,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Sounds impressive, right?

Except that only in the past week, Israel has provided 14,069 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

In fact, in the same amount of time that the Free Gaza moonbats and their friends have managed to scrounge their 10,000 tons of cargo, Israel has sent over 230,000 tons of aid to Gaza, not counting the many tens of thousands of tons of fuel. This includes a CT scanner, an elevator, building supplies, glass, clothing and many other products.

Will we be hearing them talking about that? Of course not.

In fact, Free Gaza is against humanitarian aid to Gaza. They've stated this repeatedly, most recently only last November.

They have stated their desire for violent revolt by the Palestinian Arabs. They have shown blatant disregard for Gazan lives. And in their internal communications they don't consider themselves a humanitarian group or an aid organization, but rather a resistance group.

Just something to keep in mind as you read the upcoming media articles and op-eds that refer to this group as "humanitarian."

... Elder of Ziyon: Flotilla of fools

And Im done with my arguments, from now on its plain enterteinment.

to blockade you need to be at war. According to israel itself they pulled out of Gaza. But that doesn't even matter.

According to UNCLOS you can't blockade international waters without declaring that intent(which Israel didn't do)...according to Part VII Article 101 of UNCLOS, what Israel did was textbook piracy

In order to something to be considered privacy it needs to be conducted for private gain.

(b) the damage to the civilian population is, or may be expected to be, excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage anticipated from the blockade.
It is arguable that that is happening.

you don't accidentally kill 15-20 people, and wound another 50-60.

It takes 15-30 people shooting on full auto to cause that much damage.

The M16A2 that the israeli forces uses holds at most 30 rounds in a clip. So even if they had 100% hit rate, that's 3 clips shot into a group of civilians with the intent to kill.

If they had a 10% hit rate(also intentional hit rate), that's 26 clips of ammo used up with the intent to kill unarmed civilians.

If you want me to believe that all these deaths were accidental, then let's use 1% hit rate...completely random right? Then how to do you explain them using up 260 clips of ammo aimed in the general direction of unarmed civilians?

The murder was intentional. This was no accident. You don't "hit" 80 people without actively seeking to cause as many casualties as possible.

That's more people(civilians) killed in 1 day by Israelis, than the total amount of Israelis killed by palestenian rocket attacks in the last 10 years.

Just about all your posts in this thread have been retarted, but this is by far the worst.

10% hit rate? wtf? do you think they are playing Call of Duty or something? this is one of the best military forces in the world. i would be surprised if they didn't have a 95% or higher hit rate. Especially close range with m16's. I doubt any soldier went threw more than half a clip tops.

Also, are you too big of a sheep to realize that when people report "50 injured" that it literally can mean that 50 people stubbed their toes running to hide. It DOES NOT mean that 50 people were shot.

Hell, the way they were beating those soldiers with the pipes i would be surprised if they didn't mistakenly hit some of their own people a few times, which would of course be counted in the injury report.

Also, if they just wanted to kill people, why did all of the other boats have no problems and just the boat where IDF soldiers were getting the shit kicked out of them? If they just wanted to kill people why would they even put their soldiers in danger by having them board the boat? Why not just blast the boat from far away?

Time to stop buying into all that European propaganda against israel and wake up....

And you need to stop saying "unarmed." Do they look unarmed?

I don't give a shit what they stated...it doesn't justify piracy in international waters and killing civilians. If you are so right, why is no country defending your actions? If you are so right, why is there a worldwide outrage.

Piracy = hijacking of ships in international waters...but you are right, this tends to be more for private individual.

But it is the closest term that applies. Or we can go with Act of War or Massacre of Civilians...both work too.

"Piracy is a war-like act committed by private parties (not affiliated with any government) that engage in acts of robbery and/or criminal violence at sea. The term can include acts committed in other major bodies of water or on a shore."

They are the worst pirates boarding with paint guns and checking only the ships that were going into gaza. You think they would keep the paint guns at home and just take any old ship regardless if they were going to Gaza or not.

Heck, I don't know why they pulled out their guns. You would have thought that little old iron bars and knives were harmless based on your posts.

You really are an idiot.

to me armed means AK47s and guns. A few 2 by 4s, lounge chairs and cutlery don't really count when you are going up against elite Commandos.

btw we already established that they were using handguns.

If you read up on it, you'll see that IDF were knee capping people before they were ordered to shoot to kill. And when you have 20 dead, chances are the injured ones don't have stubbed toes.

Once again, for the retarded(psst that's you)...Israel had no right to board the vessel since it was in international waters, and the people had every right to defend themselves from acts of piracy/war. International law specificlaly forbids what Israel did.

There is a reason the international community is unilaterally condemning Israel. Israel fucked up by attacking in international waters, and they'll pay dearly for it.

Did you even watch the video? The IDf soldiers were being attacked before they even set foot on the boat. What did the "civilians" need to defend themselves from? None of the other boats felt the need to attack the soldiers and no one got hurt. They were pulling soldiers off the ropes and beating them. Seriously, did you even watch the video? i can see about 10 "civilians" beating down one IDF soldier with pipes. if that's not considered armed i don't know what is. If the IDF didn't respond, that soldier was dead.

As far as international waters, if a ship declares it's intentions to break your blockade on your own territory, then i believe a military response is fair game. Especially when your only intention is to board the boat and divert it away from your territory.

Where were the anti-semites, communist, daily kosers, huff poserts, maoist, soicialist etc. when North Korea killed 46 South Korean sailers in cold blood??????

This is it right here. All the news gives a shit about is ratings, thats why they hop on this like white on rice and conveniently let the Korean crisis fade into obscurity.

All you guys going blah blah about this and that, just remember it's all about oil and money. The U.S. wants to exert as much control over the mid east as possible, one of those ways is selling our weapons to Israel so they can keep ripping shit up down there in defense of their "Holy Land" when in actuality they're just our pitbull on the other side of the world.

Control over Oil wells through deals brokered with the Saudi's, Iraqi's, Kuwaiti's, etc = cheaper oil to keep our country burning them fossil fuels = more money for the oil companies = more dividends for stock brokers = more money pumping into our own economy.

The ones who get fucked in the end are the arab nations when we exhaust all their oil. By that time we'll all be running off fuel cells and the middle east will be the new Africa.

So while you argue pointlessly just remember in the back of your mind this shit is important for the U.S. and if you live here and enjoy your quality of life you better be rootin' for the Jews.

But I had the opportunity to be involved with some pretty intensive training with Isreali paratroopers while I was attached to an antiterrorism command when I was on active duty.

A bunch of members obviously missed this. Thank you for your service to this great nation.

This.

All I'm going to say is I wish the western world had the airport security Tel Aviv had when I went there.

I was in and out of there quicker than I am at my local airport with two fucking gates. And it's probably the, if not one of the, most targeted airports in the world.

Jews > you > yu.

All I'm going to say is I wish the western world had the airport security Tel Aviv had when I went there.

Agreed but unfortunately it's not a realistic expectation. Israel has 12 airports and only 2 of those are international. The U.S. has 376 actively used airports. A large part of the security in Israeli airports is comprised of, for lack of a better term, a "social engineering" component. Israelis rely a lot more on human detection than tech, U.S. screeners are just hourly wage slaves hoping nothing shows up on a scanner so they don't have to get out of their seats. U.S. airports just have too many points of leakage compared to Israel where the majority of travelers are going to be funneled through a much smaller number of entry points.

International law is garbage. This is another case of terrorists playing the "victim card" and our traitorous media playing the propaganda whore for them. Yet another chance for me to vomit at the institution we call our media.

  • Israeli soldiers invaded these ships in international waters, breaking international law, and, in killing civilians, committed a war crime. The counter-claim by Israeli commanders that their soldiers responded to an imminent “lynch” by civilians should be dismissed with the loud contempt it deserves.
  • The Israeli government approved the boarding of these aid ships by an elite unit of commandoes. They were armed with automatic weapons to pacify the civilians onboard, but not with crowd dispersal equipment in case of resistance. Whatever the circumstances of the confrontation, Israel must be held responsible for sending in soldiers and recklessly endangering the lives of all the civilians onboard, including a baby.
  • Israel has no right to control Gaza’s sea as its own territorial waters and to stop aid convoys arriving that way. In doing so, it proves that it is still in belligerent occupation of the enclave and its 1.5 million inhabitants. And if it is occupying Gaza, then under international law Israel is responsible for the welfare of the Strip’s inhabitants. Given that the blockade has put Palestinians there on a starvation diet for the past four years, Israel should long ago have been in the dock for committing a crime against humanity.
