Jon Fisher dead?

I don't exactly understand the "Giving back to the Community" theory but who would reveal their money making secrets and invite competition to their own campaigns and projects?

It's not quite what your thinking, very few give up there niche markets and exact "current" income sources or strategies, nor do you have to in order to give back to the community (so to speak).

What is of value are the tips, idea's, thought's, strategies we've learned that can be applied across any market or can be applied across a wide variety of markets with a little tweaking.

Everyone always want's an exact do this and you'll make $xx,xxx type of formula but in reality things like that just don't exist. You have to be smart enough and willing enough to learn some things for yourself but also to adapt and try new idea's that might have been sparked by the thoughts, strategies and similar workings other people are doing or have done in various markets.

Basic point is, your never expected to reveal your exact niche or exact strategy so people can copy you and steal your income sources, the community sharing thing is about sharing certain details that come from years of trial and error as well as vigorous testing and figuring out how to incorporate those strategies and/or idea's into your own business model.

Heck sometimes one person's failure's turn into another person's success, for instance someone can share an idea that failed them and someone in another market comes along, gets an idea from that failure, tweaks it and earns a bunch of cash. I've seen that happen quite a bit before.

Anyway I'm hoping you see the difference by now, having a community to be part of isn't always about giving away your exact niche or data that you have it's more about tossing idea's and strategies around, and so on.

I feel as if in the earlier day's Wickedfire had that type of community atmosphere that simply couldn't be found anywhere else at the time. But eventually over the years just lost that flare so to speak.

Forums are fucking stupid. They give a voice to everyone, which is just plain dumb.

Imagine if you are a smartass mother fucker sorting through fields of bullshit to find meaningful discussion.

The only solution is a subscriber based forum like that other dumbass circlejerk forum that costs money and I won't mention.

Bottom line is: Trump is literally worse than Hitler.

Reddit killed forums, it has every "subreddit" imaginable. Want to see Asian chicks post naked photos of themselves? /r/asiansgonewild, want to read about people's hotwife experiences? /r/hotwife, want to discuss Donald trump? /r/the_donald, want to discuss business? /r/entrepreneur

It eliminated the need for separate forums entirely.

Wait, you mean you don't like stacking particular mounds of currency?

I think that forum and FB groups killed WF.

yes WF is dead and has been dead for years, but we're all still coming back every once in a while because there is simply nothing better out there.

That Apex forum is a good initiative but it's still a little too serious for my liking.

WF was successful because it's a perfect mix of quality content and tits...

Yup. A perfect mix of content and tits.

Cock and nuts too, WF certainly had its share of the male stuff. The balls out mano y mano action got more than a few resident grunts through some mighty lean times. A fickle yet macho circle within a circle sharing a wondrous spirit and watching timid souls transform into steely juggernauts in the frenzy of the moment.

This band of brothers never had a name for it either, for what good is a name or label when true passion builds? There were men here. Men muscled through and through, hewn from fire and carrying the fresh scent of life.

Not for me though. I was not into this.

Well, after 3 months i just decided to read and post again. I'll do it again in 2-3 months.. What do you know right? Even if this forum is dead there's nothing to compare it with, Warrior, digital point, bhw? Oh common

Forum is dead specially with that Commited to success bullshit and when Jon tried to hide those Ccarter imba post in the enlightenment. But there's still nothing to compare to the best. Content here is more updated, post have colors, they are not boring to read, the flaming and the what not.

Its still worth the visit.

Just popped in for a look, and yes still dead... so dead in fact that the spammers have even left

I would like to see https on wickedfire.com. It's now 2016 and LetsEncrypt provides it for free. Would also like to see Tapatalk support. Taptalk even allows site owners to monetize. Small things that would take little time.

WF had Taptalk support in the past, but I am not sure about now. Also who cares about https on a public forum where everyone can plainly see your posts? It makes sense for transmitting passwords, but not for shooting the shit.

Great ideas buddy! Make sure you send those gems to the admins. They are working tirelessly to make this a better community where everyone can thrive and learn.

To be honest with you though: don't expect them to roll them out before Q2 2017 because last I heard in the WickedFire annual conference in Vegas a few months ago is that they are backlogged with all the great ideas members like you have been contributing.

Speaking of the conference, were you there? We had a sneak peak at some of the developments they're about to roll out, and boy oh boy did we see some exciting stuff. What a time to be alive!

Reminds me of the time back in 2011-2014 newbies used to ask "Is affiliate marketing dead?"

Seriously though, Jon's last post was Dec 28th, 2015.

Did he piss off the wrong person, and is now wearing cement boots, or WTF? Are we just waiting for his credit card to hit its limit, before the hosting company pulls the plug on the forum, or?

No, we're waiting for his CC to hit its limit so he opens up the 2nd premium subscription tier.
