This exactly. When talking about fakes, anything not acquired through a distributor of the brand is considered fake. However this goes on in all of the countries producing for these brands out there, the front door is actually for the brand and they produce a little over run which goes out the back door and is sold in grey markets. So you buying from someone that has overstock or something is deemed fake. Is it authentic? Well it is produced in the same exact damn factory but since it hasn't gone through the proper distribution channels with a nasty mark up it is deemed to be fake. Of course thats the problem with producing in third world countries, there are always people concerned more about themselves and making a few extra bucks instead of holding up the brands integrity.
And of course there are those factories that produce clear replicas of anything and everything, thats another story. It isn't like here, you can't just walk into Thailand and find the guy who owns the factory or for that matter even find the damn factory itself.
