I never said he was. I was simply pointing out eugenics and its origins. Then its use in Germany. Stop putting words in my mouth.

First off I do not agree that he was killed in a church, that's just wrong.

Course as my wife says, 'serves him right' that he was finally killed.

The main thing that disturbed me about his practice is that late term abortions would include the age range that my son was delivered at.

He was born at 28 weeks, 1lb 13oz. To think that anyone would just go in and kill 'that', to me is just unthinkable. There's no reason why a woman who carried a child further than our own kid, and in even healthier situations than our couldn't just go thru to the end of the pregnancy and put the child up for adoption. And its not like there would be a hard time putting the kid up for adoption, infants are very easily placed in a new home very quickly (as opposed to a 6 year old that may or may not have already been screwed up in the head by the time they hit the system).

Clark above will be 2 years old in a couple of weeks, its unthinkable how many will never have the chance to reach that due to his actions.

Beautiful kid KB. Nice work.

@the world...

HOW the fuck did I miss this much WF drama?

How is your kid now?
Is he healthy or does he have any sort of issues caused due to premature birth?

He has more specialist keeping an eye on him than you could shake a stick at. Right now he seems to be doing fine, a lil behind compared to his 9 month old brother in a way (vocabulary mainly). Has very mild cerebral palsy (basically lil extra spinal fluid in the head) which they say may clear up by the time he's 4. Course thats damn lucky considering that when he was born the doctor garanteed he'd have least one of three major problems (blindness, intestinal, severe retardation, etc). He sent 72 days in NICU when he was born. Right now he's almost 2, but still about 20lb, but by all account of the doctor's he's quite healthy.

The main reason behind the early birth was my wife had preeclampsia (basically where 'being' pregnant is what's killing em) and helpp syndrome, course they didn't catch it until her organs were already shutting down, and they had to take him out within 24 hours of admitting her.

But ya, we got doctors and what not keeping an eye on him as he progresses. And we're thinking that as he interacts with his younger brother some areas of development will get a push.

This was Clark during his 1st birthday party.

Michael Tomasky: Reasons for late-term abortions | Comment is free | guardian.co.uk

You guys forget there are real stories here. Real reasons people do this. NO ONE just gets to 8 months and says: Nah. There's usually alot of pain and heartbreak. But in the end it comes down to a medical choice between the doctor and the patient. Do you really want a politician with no medical knowledge and expertise and only cares about getting reelected taking that choice away from you and your family?

First example they gave shows you how selfish and inhumane people can be. So they'd be conjoined and likely die, thus you should kill them before they die on their own?

Why not say the same thing for a fag with AIDS? He's gonna die a pretty horriffic death, why not terminate his infected ass?

A woman doesn't get to 8 months and suddenly the Dr. says "Whoops, guess there are 2 and they're conjoined."

C'mon Lauren, you'd had 2 almost a decade apart, even with the first, are you seriously claiming that it was impossible to know deformities (that would prompt a woman to abort) until the 8th freaking month?

The whole % of abortions that are 'mercy' or 'for the health of the mother' is LESS than 5% by PLANNED PARENTHOODS own admission. In South Dakota we had 2 abortion votes, one in 2006 and one in 2008. Both failed because PP ran an expansive campaign championing the health of the mother and readily admitted to only 5% of abortions being for health related purposes.

Bottom line is it's anyone's right to be pro-choice, but for fuck's sale, there WILL come a day when you'll realize just how fucked your arguments have been and how selfish the whole pro-choice viewpoint is.

Heh. You said "for fucks sale" Even when you get all enraged and sassy, you're still a marketer.

So I'm guessing you are against first and second trimester abortions too? How do you propose to force a woman to give birth to a child that, for whatever reasons, she doesn't want?

The choice is made before a woman decides to fuck. If she's not willing to carry a baby to term, don't take a shot of baby gravy in the first place.

And for the record, per Planned Parenthood, less than 2% of ALL ABORTIONS NATIONWIDE are the result of rape and/or incest...

So men get to fuck and women don't? Shall we wear a veil too?

EDIT: for fucks sale. I can't believe you drew me in again. You know this is pointless? You will never change your mind and I will never change mine.

When men have a say in the "choice", your sarcasm will convert to fact.

I'm already sending you a shirt, it wouldn't take much to send a Burka...

Ya know.... That's why they make birth control. Multiple kinds, even. In fact, there are even a handful of them that can be used in conjunction with one another.

You know, even as a woman, I'm fucking tired of this double standard bullshit! Men fuc* up and don't use a condom, and they're required to pay child support for the next 18+ years. Women fuck up and don't protect themselves, and they can just kill it to make it go away??? Fuc* that noise. Everyone's all for equality, until it doesn't benefit them. What would you recommend, then... that we let men get a court order for an abortion if they don't want the kid? Oh shit, there goes your rights again. Either get rid of abortion for fuc*ing convenience, or make it a law that the fathers can escape child support if the mother chooses to carry the child against his wishes.

And for the record, so no one can say I don't know what it's like, I was a single mom for 6 years before I met my now-husband. I never even filed for child support, and never will. Y'all want women's choice... I made the choice to keep my son even though the father didn't want him. Therefore, I'll SUPPORT my own choice.
