Fucking horrible man, I got my jaw broken before and its not fun, you guys need to get a group of people together and go wreck some faces. No reason you couldnt get 50 rugby players and start KOing rioters in the street.
How do you protect your house, your family, and your balls from gangs of rioting people who each have a fucking AK?
all the people with brooms cleaning up shit, why don't they get together with some baseball bats at night and prevent the riots in the first place?

When a WF member with a fucking AK meets 5 riot criminals with 5 fucking AK, the WF member dies.
It's my understanding that gangsters in GB have guns just like gangsters anywhere else. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Think about it lol... a group of 30 people coming towards your house, all with guns, versus you with your one gun.
I'd rather have my house burnt down and be alive, than it be burnt down with me dead inside it.

Seriously though. You're talking about a bunch of stupid teenagers here that are looting because nothing is stopping them.
Store owners with guns (or even the idea that the store COULD be defended by an armed guard or owner) sends these little runts home.
Leaving of course the harder-core criminals... which are fewer in number.
Leaving a more manageable number for the Police to arrest and contain.

Also LOL at the idea of a roving band of looters with AKs in hand. Talk about having the smack down dropped on you if you were dumb enough to roll out with a bunch of AKs in plain-view.
No one would want that sort of attention.
This type of rioting and looting works because of ANONYMITY.
Who reported any of the rioters have guns? When is the last time a group of gang members where running around through the streets with assault rifles in a developed country?
I usually make it a point to never agree with anyone from Georgia, but Hav3n mentioned the most important point here today: ANONYMITY is allowing this rioting to continue.
Fucking Cowards. This could never happen here... No one in the Rodney King Riots was covering their faces...
The best way to kill these riots is to get every citizen within view of them filming the everliving SHITE out of them... Follow every single Rioter from his apartment to the scene of the looting, back to his apartment via patching together a million iphone videos.
That way they all go to jail... And once the first few do, the rest will realize they can't get away with ANONYMITY anymore.

Since a lot of theory fighter is being thrown around, I figure why not get into it.
There's a couple big problems I see with the whole gun-control-for-everyone mindset:
1) criminals aren't playing with a full deck in the first place. If you make gun control laws, law-abiding citizens won't have the guns to defend themselves with but criminals aren't abiding by the law in the first place, effectively removing the strategic advantage a property owner has and giving it to the criminal who would use an unlawful way to obtain a gun.
2) Guns cost money. You're not going to have a roving pack of looters all armed with AKs by simple virtue of cost. Its easy to say there would be a fair gunfight with the shop owner and looters being armed equally, but the reality is the gun-toting looters would have to be much more organized than they currently are to pull something like this off.
3) Looters and thieves are cowards, interested in getting loot with minimal risk involved. When have you ever seen a looter risk his life for a TV amidst a spray of gunfire?
@Nickster, if you scoff at the US giving advice to UK on how to prevent crime, that attitude is completely understandable; but you're falling into a logical fallacy by writing off anything someone in the US has to say simply by virtue of how their country's criminal system works.
