LOST : No Spoiler Alert

For being the season of "revealing all", they revealed nothing other than solving the storyline they just created that season. All of the good questions went unanswered.

This is true things remaining unclear

Is the smoke monster actually dead?
Why do all of the spirits of everyone who dies on the island seem to stay around?
What was the smoke monster and the light and the wheel?
How come the rules of who could hurt or kill who only worked sometimes?
How did Jacobs foster mom get on the island?

And many many more

They'll have a lost movie and make us pay for it.

LMAO. Having never seen the show and reading questions like this make me glad I didn't waste my time.

We got so caught up circlejerking each other at our lost finale official cocktail party that we forgot to watch it.

Any tips on cleaning up jizz stains off rugs in bulk would be appreciated.

Also, anyone who has the finale tivo'd and willing to be a host to 12 fun loving hetero bros can PM me.

saw it and expected nothing less

writers suck, acting is terrible, editing is elementary

case in point: the show never had a plot, it just had a lot of hype and touched subject matter _everyone_ was curious in. ABC is happy. the actors are happy. viewers are happy because 90% of your average viewer loves happy-touchey-feel good "philosophical" stories, even if they are completely non logical and full of holes.

Man some of you guys just don't get it. Goober, you should stick to south park re-runs. Maybe that's more on your level.

The finale was epic. LOST is easily the most meaningful TV series ever IMO.

Also one of the most popular and profitable. Coincidence?

I don't really care that many questions weren't answered. Ive learned to let go. I honestly could care less what the smoke monster is, or what the symbols mean now. Before I did, now I dont. The finale made me realize how attached I had become to the characters, and the show. How many emotional rollercoasters and exciting climaxes we've been through....what a great show. Followed the show for what...6 years and now its over. No other show's finale has made me feel like I lost something dear to me as cheesy as that may sound. I enjoyed the way it ended. It was an epic, epic story.

Agreed. This finale was so well written, produced, acted and directed it will go down as some of the finest hours in television history. Mark my words.

Asking for every question to be answered is like asking someone to turn over their entire profitable CPA campaign. Put some effort in to it, "test", and figure out what works for you.

now for some comic relief

Anyone else lol when Kate's flashback was triggered by staring at Claire's snatch?

Bottom line is that the same people who say it sucked the way it currently ended wouldve said it sucked if they knew all the answers and are probably the same people who think Starcraft 2 will suck. People are never satisfied, and refuse to look at positives. The show kept an audience on the edge for nearly 6 years. It would not have been half the show it was if we knew all of the answers. Asking questions, having to draw your own conclusions, etc. is what made this show great. Complain all you want, but this show will go down as one of, if not the best TV show in history, just the same as starcraft 2 will be the biggest video game release in history.

I thought it was good, obviously ill be thinking about all those questions, but if I knew the answers it would not be so compelling.

I almost think those thinking the ending was good never actually watched the whole series.

The ending explained nothing in a MYSTERY series. One expects most of the mysteries to come to light at the end of a MYSTERY story.

As far as I can tell, they actually added more contradictions to the story-line than explanations.

Wtf do you want explained. Go ahead and make a list. If you knew all the answers would it still be as interesting? No because its a fucking mystery. If you knew how a magician does all his shit, would it still be cool, no because its a fucking mystery. Having to fill in your own blanks, draw your own conclusions, etc is what made the show great.

And how did they add more contradictions, please elaborate.
