Mark Zuckerberg interview on 60 Minutes

I think the difference between facebook and a site like myspace is just that it doesn't look like some giant digital ghetto covered in glitter puke.

I think they are here to stay, atleast for a while. They got the formula right, or atleast as right as any company could without outright not allowing you to friend your relatives. The things people hate about facebook are the same things the same people hate about human interactions in general. I don't hear people bitching about things that are actually wrong with the platform like they did with friendster and myspace.

Also, I don't understand why people still buy into the fact that he "stole the idea". The idea of a social networking site was out in the open and there were sites established before he even got started. The fact that the Winklevos twins got 65mil out of him is fucking absurd.

I also wonder how much of the opinion of Mark that people hold is purely from the movie.

I don't really think that in reality he is that interesting of a person to be honest.
