Of course I "meant it to a degree." That's what a difference of opinion is, you condescending shithead.
You call me "closed minded" when you're the one advocating zero diversity in your business?
ELL-OH-FUCKING-ELL. You're even more stupid than so-called "newbies" that jump from plan to plan.
Yes, I'm advocating for zero diversity. That is exactly what I said. I'm a condescending shithead. You are awesome. Feel better now?
BTW, I'm now curious as to what has you so emotive as to want to attack me?
I think you are someone who knows a lot and you likely you do very well. But you are arrogant (I am too many times) and made a foolish sounding statement in this thread (I've done so in other threads) which in my opinion, exposed a closed minded view of web marketing (notice I didn't say social, SEO, PPC, email, having an affiliate program, media buys, PPV, viral, etc). So I pointed it out. Others did too. I didn't attack you.
I employ every possible method of online marketing. In my niche, most customers buy the widget after a Google search, and it is an Adwords restricted niche (also restricted on facebook and other platforms). I do work some PPC, media buys, viral marketing, etc.
In any case, since in my niche those who dominate are those who dominate in SEO, I enjoy a less saturated competitive landscape since short term money has a hard time getting in.
You say more risk? I say more reward. I expect to continue to acquire organic search customers for 1/60th of the net profit I will get from them. My top competitor does 7 digits per month, mostly from SEO traffic; I'm sure his numbers in terms of cost per acquisition:net lifetime customer profit are similar. I don't think we have so much a difference of opinion, as a difference of perspective. Every business has weak points. Mine and yours. Show me one that doesn't and I'll show you someone who is delusional.
