Guerilla is dead on. At least somebody knows what's really going on with this bullshit corporation we call the United States. Obama and MaCain will continue to run this country further in debt, increase government and take away the few freedoms we have left.

It's all just a game played by the hidden hand up top and we're their batteries. Continue voting and buying into the fake "democracy" that we live in. Until we figure out how the game is played we are going to continue making them more powerful. The only thing worth voting on is overthrowing the entire government and starting fresh.

How many failures does it take before people find out big government is not the solution? People need to help people, not the government. But I guess there's not much else to say considering everyone in America is a dumbed down robot having gone through the public school system while being fed a daily dose of BS from the news networks which are, oh by the way, owned by the same people who own the United States corporation.

Ahh, how cute - Revolution on a forum. A tough guy on the Internet.

Revolutions aren't voted on you fucking tool. If you really think the country needs a revolution, then fucking revolt. If you really believe that way, and you do nothing about it, then you are part of the problem. Talking tough on a forum isn't doing your part. Go start a fucking revolution so my grandkids can read about you in their history books. If you ain't got the sac to do that, then shut the fuck up and enjoy more of the same.

RANT

What I find to be entirely sad is how we have unprecedented access to information - specifically the voting behaviors of our elected representatives - and still do not hold them accountable for this ridiculous level of stagnation Congress has blessed us with. I have made what I consider moderate efforts to let my senators and reps know what I think through a group called DownsizeDC (.org). This site connects you with your elected representatives to voice your thoughts but that is minute compared to the revamping that needs to be done in our government. It's expanding to critical mass and who's getting the real benefits of it? Not you as the taxpayer, and not the public as the beneficiaries. It's the government itself. Its the people who make careers in "public service" and get paid regardless of performance.

Now for all you "social programs" people out there, I'd like to offer an opinion on why government is bad:

Think of a government program. Now I would like to know what the INCENTIVES are for that program to be the most efficient it can be. So this can be pay-for-performance such as stock options, or even as simple as profitability or even the threat of failure. An inefficient program in the free market would and usually does fail. Either a competitor will come in and beat you, or you will beat yourself. Wasting too much paper, expensing too many dinners, providing unsatisfactory service or products, all could and would lead to failure. An inefficient program in our government however gets talked about in many elections as "priorities", are subsequently rarely altered, virtually never serve its intended purpose. And why would they? They don't have to! We assume that since there is a program - we don't need to pay attention to how it is run. God forbid we audit our own damn government!

In physics energy is never wasted, it is conserved. Humans attempt to act in the same manner by not doing things they don't have a real incentive to do. Would you do what you do for a living every day without the same incentives to do so? Without the threat of the program getting the ax or the employee losing their job for not performing, the program will not, by nature, perform "by the book" as it was created to do.

The complaint made earlier about people only making charitable donations because of tax breaks is one of the few perfect examples of incentives being used properly. It's as simple as the carrot and the stick folks. You hold what they want in front of them and they'll act accordingly.

It's not the government that should be doing the work, it should be the government that helps to facilitate incentives that the market can't.

Bottom line, the government should only help to manage and create incentives when the market cannot, which is virtually never. ( I believe greed is the only negative aspect of free markets, and thats on us, not the markets)

Sorry for my length, but this country is starting to depress me.
