I ordered a logo from John and didn't get what I expected. Where's my $30 logo?

I asked for a $30 logo and got one that WAS BETTER than a $150 logo from a Sitepoint auction I did a while back. Plus there was like a full 48 hour turnaround time from the time I submitted my initial query to the time I received my product completely done after I asked him to make a change or two from the first draft. My sitepoint auction took me much longer to complete and cost me 5 times the price.

You should be charging at least a couple hundred per logo for that kind of stuff. And you'd easily win lots of contests on the design contest sites.
 
Ordered a logo from John and it came out great. Totally pleased with the quality and the communication.

Not sure what that other poster is talking about. Mine definitely looked different from the samples he posted here, but I would be disappointed if they all looked the same. The quality was still very high.

It's johns way of saying we don't need another affiliate marketing blog. Let me guess you want the $30 refund because you need to pay the designer for your new ebook?
 
I don't think the superaffiliatedream.com logo is that great. Looks a little pixelish.

The rest of the stuff is good shit though. I'll probably put an order in soon.
 
Look folks, if you needed a super awesome logo for a big money maker or long term project, you would probably be spending more than $30 with someone who gives you endless revisions and puts up with all of your BS. For $30, you get a solid logo for web application, something to brand your site with, and you get it in 48 hours, so STFU.

I order alot of logos from many different free lance logo designers. Hood Rich is one of the best, but if you don't like the web 2.0 glossy look then find someone else.

for $30 you can't beat what he gives you. check berniemedia.com for the one he made me.
 
I ordered from John and got turnaround in 48 hours, professional service/communication, and a logo that IMO was well worth the price.

Was it as complex as one or two shown in his portfolio? No- HOWEVER, (and this is a BIG however) - it was a corporate logo where I gave him virtually no direction and said "just make something" - so I'm sure keeping it clean and brandable was in his mind.

Since then I've gotten nothing but compliments on the 'web 2.0' look/feel of the logo.

I would and will be ordering again in a heartbeat. Would I use a $30 logo for a business seeded with $1MM in angel money? Probably not. Would I use it for most anything else? Yup.

A happy customer here.
 
Is anyone currently working with John on a job? I was supposed to get mine on Friday afternoon but I haven't heard a word from them since Thursday. Getting a little worried bc of a deadline, but he's pretty reliable from what I've read. Please PM me if you've any idea what's going on.
