Muslims behead a 9-year-old boy

lol seriously? being in abbotabad is your 'normal muslim situation' that you're basing your safety concerns on?

one more time, have you ever travelled to a muslim country that isn't involved in a war or a revolution? I can't speak for other people but I would much rather walk around Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, or Istanbul at 2am than I would Central LA or Washington DC.

I don't get it. What's your point?

How's that relevant? It's not like Bloods and Crips kill in the name of Jesus are they?

Did you know that Muslims in Kuala Lumpur sell Osama Bin Laden's t-shirts, cd's and posters 2-3 days after 9-11 happened? I was there, it was a celebration here.

Muslims don't kill for money, they kill for Allah, the real terrorist.

alright done I'm off to bed

you missed the point of any data can be flawed, just cause its in print or on the internet != actually good.

Yes, any data can be flawed, but "risk" is a mathematical concept and we can only use what data is available to us. If you only want to focus on individual incidents, then I imagine news.google.com would lead to lots of stories of people killed in car crashes from just the past few days.

I love that the fact that I make a choice about who I hang with and who I let my kids play with has turned this whole thread into a cluster fuck.

Why you care so much what I do with my life. Thats the ultimate troll on people like bluechina and torgo.

any mathematical concept, especially risk, is devised from data. If that data is flawed, then your mathematical concept is also flawed.

Everyone attacking Eliquid there - let's put it in a different perspective. He's profiling - and that's not always bad.

1.) Would you wear a gay pride shirt in a crowd of bikers?

2.) Would you wear a gay pride shirt in front a christian right wing group that's protesting abortions?

3.) Would you let your 5 year old suburban raised daughter run around the ghetto?

4.) Would you run around in the Ghetto? Would you let your wife?

5.) In a riot here in the u.s. (cities) the Koreans are sitting in their shops with a gun, the hoods are looting, the whites are hiding (and probably on facebook complaining about government response), the cops are chuckin tear gas, and everyone is making sure their kids are off the street and away from whoever is pissed off and causing the riot. You going to go out into that just because you don't want SOME people to be like that?

Sucks - but it's how things are. Saying that profiling or certain groups of people will act a certain way won't happen doesn't make it true.

Dudes saying he's uncomfortable around a group of people that MAY react strongly to the killing of Osama. His instinct is to protect his family and not hang around - that's a dad thing. Deal with it. You don't take chances when you have kids.

I had a riot in my H.S. during the Rodney King crap when I was a teen. If I woke up tomorrow and saw that something similar had happened my kids WOULD NOT go to school that day.

Am I a racist? Nope. But I do use my head and realize that certain groups CAN be pretty accurately profiled. If there is risk to my family around them I do what I can to protect them.

I think you just said better what I have been trying to say this entire thread.

Bravo.

Why you care so much what I do with my life.

I don't mind what you do, but the more fear the more easy it is for governments to take away rights and property from us all.

...

You're pointing out specific situations, whereas his was more general. 2.5 million American Muslims are constantly around non-Muslims. There should be frequent religious killings all over the USA if it really is that risky to be around them.

Males are way more likely to kill or molest someone than females. Children left alone with a male are more likely to get hurt than with grandma. Even so, it would be ridiculous to make blanket statements saying you won't let your family be around men.

There's not letting children be alone with strangers, and then there is not letting your child be on the basketball team because you think the Muslim coach will kill him.

If avoiding risks at all costs is the main concern, then you wouldn't want to let your family ride in a car, go on a trip to Mexico, play certain sports, etc.

Dont get it twisted, I ALSO posted your poor attempt to troll someone on their grammar, when you yourself do not know how to properly use it.

Em
–pronoun Informal .
them: Put 'em down there.

"Em" is an informal word in the context I used. It's perfectly correct to use.

Stop trying to save face you dumb ass hick. You confuse "than", "then", "your", "you're", "there", and "their" all the time. It's not the same thing as using slang.

But it's not a surprise to me that somebody who wants to impulsively beat the shit out of the first Muslim they encounter to lack critical thinking skills.

Not sure if you have children, especially little girls.. but I am very keen what "men" are around mine for any length of time and never unsupervised, coach or not.

You can not avoid risk at all costs, but everyone has a different level of tolerance. If me and my family are in a car, thats tolerant for me. Same with if we are all together in Mexico. However, I am not tolerant of letting my children go to Mexico without me ( their not even 10 yet ) and for sure not riding in a car with someone other then me or my wife or my parents.

I also dont let them spend the night at little Susie's house, cause little Susie lives in the ghetto and there are frequent shootings, robberies, and assaults there. However, I'm more tolerant of them spending the night at Mary's house cause Mary lives right the street to me. It is what it is. Id rather not find myself in a situation if I can avoid it and thats what I do.

Some of you have a different tolerance level then me when it comes to risks and thats your thing.

Your doing exactly what extremist do in these situations by making up lies as I never once talked about beating the shit out of muslims. Dont get it twisted. Your lack of debate skills really amuses me.
