I know i have pissed of f a lot of people by coming across as smug, arrogant, and conceited.

My guide on making money online which I posted while ago was crap. The reception was very poor and people flamed me for it.

Here are some golden SEO tips that few people will tell you about:

1. Registering a domain for over 2 years will give you a slight advantage in google because your domain will seem more trustworthy.

2. After you get out of the google sandbox buy links that are relevant to your site as well as exchange links. This actually helps a lot. I was able to go from page three to page one for a pretty competitive keyword by just swapping links.

3. Buy an old semi-established site in the niche you want to monetize. The site should be atleast six month old and be well indexed in google. Then point some good link to pages you want to rank higher. If you want to make money with a fishing site, for example, buy a fishing site that is at least six months old. It will give you a big head start.

4. Don't add too many pages to a new site. Google will deem this as spam and will put your site in a long term 8-12 month sandbox and you won't be able to rank for anything. Start with only 12 pages and add 1-4 keyword, content rich pages a day. Start slow. Very important. Then point links to the individual pages.

5. DIRECTORY SUBMISSIONS ARE CRAP don't waste your money on them. 500 links for $50 WOW T3H $H17!1!! NO! AVOID IT! You don't know where your links are coming from. You have no way of knowing of the work was done or whether or not you even got any links since the process isn't transparent. In addition, your link will be placed on some 0PR sub folder page and you will see zero link benefit from it.

6. Buying links that are most relevant to your niche will cost more money and be the more time consuming than buying links on any old site, but the links will hold more value. It is a trade off between quantity and quality. In general, I recommend buying links on link clouds and link directories because they are a fast, cheap, way to get spidered and gain PR. You can buy links on a PR 6 wordcloud for 15 dollars a year for example. Also consider buying links on a few PR 6-7 pages to build your PR and rankings. These links will set you back $100 but you can get good, 3-6 year link contracts if you look around. Don't bother with text-link services because they are the most expensive. Buy your links from webmaster forums where you will get a better deal.

7. Always use desired keyword in title, meta, and in body. Very obvious but important. The most important keyword should be FIRST in the title. Don't put your website name first in your title tag.

BetaGamma...before you make another fucking "breakthough" post, go to the newbie forum and read this post http://www.wickedfire.com/newbie-questions/9651-wf-treasure-trove-articles-threads-read.html

Until you have read ALL of those, plus you have read the other stickied threads and have used the search feature, please do us all a favor and shut the fuck up.

There was nothing there about SEO. Maybe instead of flaming you should contribute something useful. :bigear::Yahoo_29:

BG is just so.....

Dude you are an ebook aggregator aren't you?

You read that crap and spew it back out like it is groundbreaking info.

That might work on complete newbies, but this is not the board. Hell I don't even know what board that shit would work on. Maybe just small biz boards with no internet experience. Please find that board and then find your followers....

Once again, instead of acting like a troll try to post something useful. I have yet to see any SEO guides posted here so I decided to write one that perhaps could help someone.

What did I do to deserve to be banned? I want honest feedback from you guys. I don't think I broke any of the forum rules. :bigear:

Here is SEOmike's section about getting links

http://www.wickedfire.com/88412-post9.html

I found my write-up on acquiring links to be more comprehensive. SEO mike leaves out many important points. :):bigear:

Excuse the spelling errors.

I don't think you should be banned, but your privleges for posting should be suspended. You need to figure out what this forum is about before you can contribute. Mike's thread was much much more than just the first post. There are links, examples, and contributing material within that entire 9 page thread. In addition to that, there are dozens of thread just like it with even more knowledge.

I aplaude you for your continuing efforts to add content to this site, but you are misdirecting your effort.

The reasons people are getting pissed is because of your posts contain virtually no new information. In fact, you are making posts on a forum that is dedicated to making money on the web, and you post a brilliant idea of putting adsense on a website to monetize it. If you have found this site, then you obviously already know about adsense. It is old information.

In addition to that, you are restating things that have been said, resaid, debated, then finally bookmarked. I suggest you take the time to read all the valuable information that is on here. Then, once you have seen all that there is here, you can make a post with something new.

Again, I don't want you banned, but posting 30+ times per day average is a bit much and when you post mostly crap, then yes, people are going to shit on you. Learn, Read, then make a new thread with something that we haven't seen before.

Jon, if you are reading this, this is further reason to make a system where newbies have restricted access until they have been a member for x days.
