can you give me the number? pm maybe? id really appreciate it. ive spent over 200k with myspace and now im wondering how long this has been going on.

This sucks adding all these numbers up when you have a shitload of campaigns. Almost impossible. Think im going to have my accountant do it lol

Tell me about it. I have a massive spreadsheet going.

A quick shortcut, though: Just multiply your avg CPC by total number of clicks - that gives you a rough estimate of what you should have been charged for that particular campaign.

For some reason these are a tiny bit higher than if you go in and add up all the charges on the stats pages, but its pretty close.

Add up all your totals for all your campaigns, then go to the billing page, cut/paste that into notepad, then cut/paste that into excel (to lose the formatting crap) and then add up all your charges.

Subtract the total of all your campaigns AVG CPC x Clicks from the total of all your charges and you'll find the amount you were over charged.

I'm relieved to see I was "ONLY" overcharged $14,000 or so.

Wow... to think it went from what could have been one tiny glitch affecting only invisible to this shitstorm...

Good luck to you guys, I really hope you get it all sorted and sooner rather than later!

wow, this is quite scary. I hope this is just a billing glitch and someone didn't get into their systems somehow.

As this is his direct line, I am not going to post his number publicly. I have however, mentioned that this problem is widespread. If anyone has been way overbilled from this issue, PM your contact info and I will pass it to him when I speak to him.

He doesn't have an out of office on, so I fully expect him to return my email or phone call either Sunday or Monday, he has always been responsive in the past.

ok after doing some research I feel certain this billing issue is a glitch when setting daily campaign limits. I am being charged to the point where it is meeting my daily specified budget limit, whether I hit it or not.

For people who have been overcharged, are you setting daily limits and not lifetime?

i had set daily spend limits, yes. i cant believe the idiots at myspace are not doing anything about this. i had another account that i forgot to delete my cc on that was just charged like another 10k. this is really fucking gay.

Just to absolutely seal the deal on that, I have an old account that had like 1 campaign running and wasn't switched over to daily limits yet. I logged in and everything looks fine on that one, so I guess that confirms it's the daily limit stuff.

No had nothing to do with the daily limits i was overcharged before that was even in place I would suggest if you have multi accounts or campaigns and cant add them up just send an email anyway stating you have been overcharge cause there accounting department with do the audit on your account as well. Cause it seems like they are overcharging 90% of the larger ad spenders anyway

thanks for the advice, will do. did you just email their standard tech support department and then eventually wind up w/accounting, or did you request to go straight there?

Also, does anyone know if its a violation of TOS to have multiple accounts? I didn't see anything about it but dont want to email like "both of my accounts are screwy" and have them get pissed.

Just noticed ~ $7k in overcharges on Dec. 19th, thought I somehow lucked out and missed all of this madness but I guess not. Any recommendations on getting it resolved? Would appreciate a PM if anyone has a direct # or contact that could help. Just emailed standard tech support but I'm sure that isn't going to be my answer.

I think by now they know they've done a fuck-the-hell-up. I think if you submit a ticket and tell the fuckers not to give you a canned, you should get it sorted imo.
