Growing up for me it was 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey

Recently: The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach and The Demon Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark by Carl Sagan. I am still reading Sagan's book and it is really intense but it sets an example for a fantastic way of thinking. By the way I *really* strongly suggest checking out Cosmos if you haven't already seen it!

Warren Buffet is next on my list :)

Anything about Warren Buffet is awesome. Helps you to think like a contrarian - i.e. do the opposite of what everyone else is doing.

I liked Next, but it felt pretty dated already.

Moneyball is about the Oakland A's and how they've managed to thrive as a small market team. It's about baseball, but it's really about business.

When I was 7, I read a book about the Universe. Changed my life, as now I am into science fact, and science fiction. It's awesome!

Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson – This book applies to everything. I understand myself better, the people around me and how to smash through "ceilings".

Experimental Theatre (rare, out of print) – I'm not in theatre first of all. This book gave me a jolt of creative ecstasy like no other book ever has. Covers radical geniuses at the turn of the century that would do anything to acheive their vision against all adversity.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad -– This book made me realize I'd have to change my thinking radically to achieve in business....from that of an employee to employer.

How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie is one of the best books I have ever read. If you use even a third of the advice in this book it will take your people skills light years ahead of the majority.

Don't make me think by Steve Krug is a fantastic, common sense guide to web usability. Fun to read, and the stuff sticks with you.

Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead.

Though I don't accept all of Rand's beliefs, I do agree with most of the principles presented in the books.
