Need a good book

Just a few from the bookcase-

Autobiography of Ben Franklin- Morgan
Count of Monte Cristo- Dumas
Ishmael- Dan Quinn
The Alchemist
Liar's Poker- Michael Lewis
48 Laws of Power, Art of seduction, etc- Robert Greene
Where have all the leaders gone- lee iacoca
Blink, what the dog saw, etc- Malcolm Gladwell
A clockwork orange
Reefer madness
everyone loves you when you're dead- neil strauss
and anything Steinbeck

Just thought of another enjoyable read:

The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
Brilliant book about involuntary time travel and love that spans time and space (yes cliched but true).

The Good Earth - Pearl S. Buck
Historical, simple but stays with you for many, many years.

Anything by Neil Gaiman
Try The Graveyard Book, his infamous Sandman graphic novels, American God, etc.

From the Corner of His Eye - Dean R. Koontz
I don't know what genre this is, but it's one of a kind, trust me.

Gun Machine - Warren Ellis

Serial Killer, a bit of mysticism and tech in it - enjoying read.

Daemon , Freedom - Daniel Suarez

Near future tech thriller.
These really only work together. Daemon is unpolished, but sets the stage (and an OK book in itself, but Freedom is where he delivers.
Please forget about his third book "Kill Decision" - utter crap.

A Madness of Angels , The Midnight Mayor - Kate Griffin
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Kate-Griffin/e/B0034N3J0I/ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1?qid=1368427700&sr=1-1"]Amazon.com: Kate Griffin: Books, Biography, Blog, Audiobooks, Kindle[/ame]

"Urban Fantasy" basically, a mage in a modern setting.

Sounds crap, but is actually quite well done. Here as well, forget any of the books after those two.

Just got done reading this last week. Doesn't talk about hatred, or anything like that. But a good personal view on the Fuhrer from Heinz Linge.

Didn't like For Whom the Bell Tolls, too schmultzy imo.

Lolita
A Clockwork Orange (10 million times better than the film)
Hunger Games
Alice in Wonderland (very easy to read, and very short. Definitely read it)

Final Exit: The Practicalities of Self-Deliverance and Assisted Suicide for the Dying.

You may want to try the above book, it is a very unique book.
