Eli first of all thank you very much for this thread.
What do you say about autoblogs? I mainly use autoblogs instead of other type of sites as setting up autoblog site is less time consuming.
I usually register domains on medium/medium-less competitive niches, set up autoblogs and blasting with DFB with the main the keyword and adding some blog comments too. That's all my link building and I get most of these sites on the first page (and some on 2nd page) as the competition is lesser.
For most of my sites more than 80% of traffic comes to the main page and it comes from the main key word for which I ranked.
After it start ranking I put relevant affiliate banners or adsense.
What are your suggestions to make this process more effective? Because I think it could be made better.

Question- I saw a post somewhere recently where someone was ranting about placing links on blogs, pointing them to high authority sites temporarily, such as a wikipedia subpage related to the keyword, pinging it and waiting 5 days for google crawl/indexing, then changing the link to their target. Benefit was claimed due to the temp pointing to a authority site etc etc..
Do you see any benefit in this? I haven't tested but it seems totally retarded..

I have this question thats been niggling me and wonder how it works.
Since Google hates duplicate content... but profile links pass under the radar.
As I figure it all the profiles have the same standard text on it's pages and might have maximum 10 % unique content ( your name / age / location / website)
Authority forum sites don't get penalized for this and also since I have achieved some strong rankings with DFB blasts only I am sure they pass some strong link juice.
Since this works well.. I am guessing tons of scraped content with 10 % uniqueness would pass link juice too.
My question is... does getting tons of backlinks from duplicate content pages help your rankings? And is there any risk to your money site from the same?

Awesome information here. I know it's sunday now, but if you wouldn't take a mind looking at one of my sites and maybe helping with the copy on the main page. I just can't seem to get it to convert more than like 6-7 times a month. and no matter what I try I can't get the bounce rate below 70%. The site is a supplement rebill and ranks #2 for the product name. The site gets about 5-600 UV a month
