Sounds scary, but this source (Next News Network) is not exactly well-vetted. They're great at promoting scary stuff that Libertarians all get upset about, myself included, but in the end their monetization model appears to be the same as Infowars.com's.
Anyone else (including you, Hellblazer) have a better source for this?

I begin war preparations when one of the non-credible networks, but slightly more credible than Next News Network, reports on this.
EDIT: Also, strong 11th post. I see Hellblazer and LukeP are currently in aggressive recruiting operations. Who will end up with the larger army? My money is on LukeP, Hellblazer just doesn't have what it takes to lead a cult movement.

98% of libertarian news and websites do this. It's easier to sell you gold, guns and getaway plans.
It may exist (and I've thought about creating it) but I have not seen a single "libertarian" website which celebrates the entrepreneur or great things happening in the market. Good news doesn't get people moving. Fear does.
Inneresting. I have a hard time taking somebody who refers to Obama as a Marxist seriously, since he's clearly just a well-branded corporate tool.
But you can bet your ass the military has these kinds of discussions. They are nothing if not pragmatic. They're very concerned about Peak Oil too, which you rarely even hear a serious discussion of in the mainstream. Similarly, they are no doubt very concerned about what's going to happen one day when Mericans wake up and realize they live in a third world country, and their currency ain't worth shit.
But, fuck the generals. It's the cops, national guard and low-level military we need to worry about, I think. That's when authority structures break down, when the elites can no longer get their minions to shoot their neighbors and friends for rioting in the streets.
