Official 2014-2015 NFL Thread

not a jets fan by any stretch.
plenty salty.

now post some more shit about what aaron rodgers did at some point or what some attention-whore reporter said in your desperate attempt to make your case.

they cheated. period.

you can whinge & moan about why that doesn't matter, why some single game stats prove them out, or what walter peyton would think if he wasn't dead, but the fact remains:

1) rules exist whether or not you agree with them.
2) they broke them intentionally.
3) they got caught.
4) this ain't the first time.

there seems to be a collective attempt to divert attention away from those 4 points. colts game score! aaron rodgers! jets fan! some espn reporter!

so lets clarify for the perpetually confused:

1) rules exist whether or not you agree with them.
2) they broke them intentionally.
3) they got caught.
4) this ain't the first time.

You guys sound like the Michael Brown and Eric Garner protesters. You have literally no credible evidence, but plenty of theories on this situation. And yet you're so confident. I'm going to let the investigation play out. If the Patriots cheated, they should be punished accordingly. But if they're innocent, I hope you geniuses come out and publicly admit you were completely wrong.

lulz, and you sound like a fucking homer. i'll take that bet.

11 deflated footballs is not credible evidence of ... deflated footballs?

If it was 2 or 3 balls out of 12 then you know what? A debate over possible monkey business would be a fair. But 11 out of 12? GTFO here. There isn't even anything left to theorize. BUSTED.

I'm going to let the investigation play out.
Buy time. Kraft/Goodell/Belichick might figure a way out of this mess... but no, not this time. Also Brady talking way too much in flatly denying anything to do with anything - not gonna help.
But if they're innocent, I hope you geniuses come out and publicly admit you were completely wrong.
drave and I will wear hair shirts and do a complete admission video that also apologizes to the Patriot organization and fan base.

Just don't hold your breath waiting for a credible explanation how 11 officially approved NFL game balls spontaneously deflated in 90 minutes.

Since you're getting so worked up over this and you obviously have some inside information, would you care to share some real evidence?

ESPN's super, extra, highly credible "report" chock-full of official documents and video evidence doesn't count btw.

LOL:

The NFL has been investigating the Atlanta Falcons' use of artificial crowd noise in the Georgia Dome over the past two seasons, sources told ESPN.

The offense is expected to result in discipline, with the Falcons being fined and quite possibly losing a draft choice, according to sources.

"We were informed during the season that the league office is looking into crowd noise during our games," a Falcons team spokesman said. "We have cooperated fully with them, and we're awaiting the outcome."

Atlanta has been accused of piping in the noise while the opposing team was huddling, trying to call its play. Some around the league have argued that silent counts have rendered crowd noise more irrelevant, and it's difficult to discern how much of an advantage it gave the Falcons.

The Falcons went 3-5 at the Georgia Dome this season and were blown out there by the Panthers, 34-3, in Week 17 with the NFC South Division title on the line.

I hope that fuckhead Bevell is let go tomorrow. That idiot just cost us the game with that shitty play-calling of his. You got the ball on the 1/2 yard line and one of the top backs in the league. Give it to Lynch. Why risk a throw like that??

If I owned that team, Bevell would've been fired before he got into the fucking locker room and would be riding Jet Blue back to Seattle.

Fuck that piece of shit!

I believe it might have been Pete Carroll who made that last call. I know those feels, though:

I have no idea why they didn't give the ball to the BEAST, he would scored from 10 yard line with the way he was playing, they gave that game away in the end. Russell Wilson will win a few more but it gets harder when the team isn't the same next year.

I know we're all still in the afterglow/aftershock but...

Because winning super bowls is easy.

Seattle is built to win championships...They were one play from repeating. They're going to be favored to win it all in 2016 next to New England provided Brady keeps slinging it around. So yeah, Wilson has a good shot and winning a few more.

Bevell came out and said he made the call. No surprise as Pete only handles the D. Carroll said he takes responsibility for the play but he never made the call.

When I look at the replay, I see two things:

1) Wilson could've thrown a better ball that only Lockette could catch.
2) The Pats rookie made a great play.
