I personally wouldn't hire a cook, any more than I'd hire someone to look after my kid (both activities I enjoy far too much to let someone else do it).

I enjoy cooking, but it's not efficient for me to be making meals all day (almost everything we eat is home cooked) when I can be making money, getting the homecooked meals AND having time to do fun activities.

I used to outsource my lunches to the workers of Pollo Tropical, but now the only one in the area is too far to make it worth the trip.

In all seriousness though, the only thing I do myself is make the bed and wash the dishes by hand (which I enjoy).
