He was a good man. I am not thinking of this as a celebrity death but as one where a guy who tried to make other people's lives better has passed way too early. Guy was doing charity yesterday and was donating toys to some kids apparently. Also worked as a first responder so he was a genuinely chill guy I think.

Like someone said it really sucks that he wasn't even driving. What is a bit bizarre here is the driver was his partner in a street racer go-fast car shop business - talk about life imitating art. wtf

I would just like to point out that you seem to be a wee bit too emotional about this guys death. At least tell me you're a woman, not that it makes it right, but at least I would understand why I don't understand this type of reaction.
From the look of the car he and his friend were being complete fucking assholes and im just glad they only killed themselves.

at some point, someone decided for you that beyond a certain speed, youre not really driving, youre running amok and everyone you pass by has about a .01% chance of survival. then when those same guys who ALMOST KILLED EVERYONE do the same in germany where its legal, youre cool.
I'm not agreeing with the "GUYS WERE CRAZY ASSHOLES PUTTING EVERYONE IN DANGER" crowd on this one. Dunn yeah, but not this. They were in an industrial area that was wide open, a fun road, hardly anyone around, and it wasn't even that fast.
Yeah, maybe it's a little selfish to bend the rules and have a little fun every now and then, but we all do it in our own way. 16 year old girls and their cellphone have to be far more dangerous than an enthusiast hitting a corner a little fast every now and then.

Paul Walker's character in Fast and the Furious was named "Brian", Brian from Family Guy also died this week, both deaths involved cars.
I hung out with him on the set of Flags of Our Fathers. I remember he sat around with all the extras talking about football and life and crap for hours. Most actors hide out somewhere and think they're too cool (even if they're right in many cases). Nice guy. Too bad. But I learned in this thread that he banged Jessica Alba and that makes me feel a little better I guess.
