Way to go, now you have to take her to South America!
nahh once she croaks I'll just take the house there.

BB: Dude, stop going to the cinema. If you're paying $68 for each trip, two years of not going will pay for a home cinema installation. Find a place that still has 18 months interest free terms and get that shit set up at home, then charge your friends $5 "for drinks" for when they come over to do movie marathons at your suit private cinema.
That said, 3D movies shit me because the glasses (or the ones we get here), aren't designed to be worn over actual need-them-to-see-a-single-fucking-thing glasses (even though we get them free with ticket).
Monsters V Aliens was totally ruined for me because mine kept falling off![]()
Classic logic failure. Your cinema is the culprit here that actually screwed you over on price but you blame the company that made the moving pictures on the screen.
My wife and I took my 2-year-old and 4-year-old to UP today.
I did not know it was a "3D" movie, was charged $2.50/pair for "special" 3D glasses that made the quality of the show FUCKING TERRIBLE. I had a fucking headache when it was over, my 2yo didn't want to keep teh glasses on and I can't imagine what his head must be feeling like.
Total for family of 4 to see the movie:
$39 - tickets /glasses
$18 - two $9 kids popcorns/lemonades
$11 - one adult large popcorn and large pop
Total spend on this fucking (SATURDAY AFTERNOON 12:15) show: $68 fucking dollars.
Why can't these cuntholes just show the damn movie normally, charge a kids rate, and make the movie experience worthwhile?
From here on out, fuck it, I'm pirating the fuck out of Pixar, screw them. I can easily afford it but come the fuck on, $40 for tickets and shitty goggles?

wow someones a fucking cheap skate. the prices are listed on all over the place when you walk up to order your tickets. if you had a problem you should of walked away.
also the price of food has nothing to do with the company thats your local movie theater. if you don't like the prices eat shit or bring your own food.
39$ is a bargin to entertain you and your most likely annoying children for 2 hours. And like someone else said if you don't like the prices rent the movie when it comes out and if your gonna pirate movies then keep it to yourself because i don't think anyone gives a fuck about how many movies you pirate or how much money you think your costing the movie industry. Just makes you look like a total douchebag.
This thread is making me clench my teeth. I have friends in the WGA, and a couple that are AMPAS members. Film piracy is a very big problem for the movie industry, and keeps studios from funding new projects. If it's too pricey to see a movie, don't go on the damn opening weekend and wait for the video. That's what I do. Problem solved.
